Sponsoring a babysitter

I am not sure if this will be the correct forum. I would like to sponsor a babysitter (a relative) for our kids. We have been having trouble with babysitters here since me and my wife are doctors and it is hard for babysitter to keep up with our schedule.

Please advise on the process and expenses involved.

You cannot.

I realize relatives don't qualify, but they will be able to get a live-in babysitter which are difficult to hire from within the US.

There are au pair agencies in many countries. That might be of interest to someone wanting to expose their children to their native language on a regular basis. In addition it gives a young person from that country a chance to experience American culture and education.

It is an option that merits consideration if either of those benefits are of interest to the family needing a sitter.

It is interesting that live-in help is easily found in IL. It is certainly not the case in this area, but then I live in a much less populated region.
