September - Visa Revalidation Tracking

latest update on my case

My DC date is Sept27th. I called them today morning (Monday) and my case is still pending for approval. The lady mentioned that they are still processing Sept 27th cases.

My DC date is also the 27th Sept. I called this am only to be told that they haven't even begun processing it yet because of the backlog.

Got my passport just now. Stamping date was 4th dec. Everything is proper in the passport.

SL - Date - 10th Sept
DC - Date - 27th Sept
Approved - 4th Dec
PP Received - 8th Dec

Passport Rec !!

All,

My passport was recevied by my lawyer today. Here are the details -

SL - 08/28
DC - 09/27

Approved - 12/04
Visa printed - 12/05

Passport Received - 12/08 (within a day since 5th was Friday).

So here is what I have learned from this process. If your passport does not go through Q/A (am not sure what that is) it is taking about a day for printing. Do not go by what some DOS officer tells you. I have had 5 different replies but the truth is that they have finished a lot of 27th Sept cases and if everything is in order passports are being returned within 3-5 days of approval. Again this is from my recent experience and going by the other updates on this forum.

I am new member who also applied in Sept for revalidation. I spoke to SD today and here is the status:

Current processing Date

As of this morning they are processing Sept 27, 2003 cases. Lady told me to expect it 10-12 weeks after DC date but I believe at the present moment it is more like 10 weeks to process and approve.

Question- i have been reading about people not being approved who got original h1 from other than home country. Did you get yours in india? If anyone else knows please post.
