September 2005 cases

travel w/ AP&EAD, I140 pending?

I have H-1 right now. Is it too risky to go back home with only AP while the I-140 is pending? What happen if I-140 is rejected while I am out of this country?

Have not recieved reciepts yet

Hi All,

My I-140 & 485 were filed on Sep 30th. Its been a month by now, I have not recieved reciepts yet nor my cheques have been cleared. Iam little concerned. Are there anyone with this situation. Any guesses for the reason of this delay.

Pl share ur thoughts...
 
AP Approved , EAD carda received

My AP was approved NOV 3rd and also received EAD cards yesterday.Hope this info helps.

Did you got the approval notice by mail? If yes how long it took for approval mail. Mine got approved Oct 29 no mail yet....

received EAD on oct 29th, AP on nov 3rd or 4th.

seems like you can expect yours anytime this week.

I am so worried!!!

According to my research, there's none of EAD/AP approval with ND after 10/01/05 until today, 10/09/05.
Since the online EAD processing time has been updated to 10/01/05 at 10/04/05, it means from last weekend to this week there is no approval of EAD/AP. I think it's very strange. I am so worried if they stop issuing EAD/AP.
Do you guys think it's possible?
I appreciate your input!

Don't worry.. They have not & will not stop processing EAD & AP.. They have tone of applications filed in last days of Sept, that is what causing minor delays. Wait for few days more & you will get EAD/AP.
 
EAD and AP Question

I still have not received the EAD and AP.

My 140/485/765/131 - RD is Sep 28, 2005
My 140/485/765/131 - ND is Oct 3, 2005

One thing is that when I check the status online it says the application was received on October 3 (which is the notice date) - but all my actual applications receipts from INS all say Sep 28th - can one of you confirm if thats the case when you check case status - thanks.

Dont know when I will get the EAD and AP. I see people with RD Sep26th have received but I still havent see Sep 27th or later - please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi buckleup1,

Dont worry. My applications also reached on 26th but on the receipt it says october 6th. So you are fine.
Which service center have you filed from??
Mine is from VSC.... and i still did not get EAD and AP. See my dates in the signature.

Hi Guys,

Iam in a similar situation. My case was filed on Sep 30th, I have still not recieved reciepts. I just hope they look on all cases. Is there anyway we can call them and check the status? Pl let me know.

Did you finish finger printing? If not, that might be the reason.

If it helps, I had my AP approved, RD:09/29:ND:10/07:AD:11/09
