I think he got his case number some where that has been written in his check that has been deposited by INS. When he verified in the website for that case number, the result in web page was showing January 6th as received date!
He is checking with his lawyer to find what will be the actual file received date

Once INS deposited the check, that is an indication they will process that case for sure. My check not deposited. I will still consider my case 60in/40out.
Western States queue status
Hi Guys,
Any updates for the Western States / Seattle queue?
Have they stopped processing the Seattle queue altogether...
Please update this table if any one has relevant info

Current EB-3 Priority date now March 01, 2002
The date has moved forward by 2 months (from Jan 2002 to March 2002) in the month of January, 2005. Hope they will speed it up even more.

Seattle DOL queue in BEC.
Here is the response I got from the BPC/BEC/BRC to the letter that I sent requesting a status.
Apparently, there are 2 queues in the BPC.
1. Non-RIR
2. RIR
And a processed in a FIFO basis based on the following criterion
Response received to 45-day letter.
PD (date app was received @ the State office) and not on RD (date app was received @ the Regional office)
The 45-day letters are issued when they enter the information into their database, apparently in the order that they were transferred to the BPC from the regional office.
I think this is bad news, because, our cases (ie; cases from the Seattle regional queue) have only been (or yet to be transferred) recently.
Not all people whose cases were transferred in oct-nov 2004 have received the 45-day letters.
The light at the end of the tunnel is yet to be seen!

The AVM says that they are still processing western states with RD of Mid June 2004. The Message was recoded on 2/28. We should check tomorrow's recorded message for update

How do you find out that they are still processing western states with RD of Mid June 2004 that was updated on 2/28? I could not find out any updates after January via the AVM. My case was received in the Regional Office on Mid August 2004. I just wondered whether my case are still in DOL or in BPC.

Its been mid june for the last 3 months. Either those cases (received in regional for western states on or after ~Jun10th) are gathering dust in the SFO DOL or they are is a pile some where in the BEC waiting to be entered into the system.
My guess is the latter (in BEC).
Its a "carrot on a stick" situation!!

SF DOL nightmare
Why is SFO DOL showing utter sloth in processing any LC - they aren't held up entering details into the system for BRC are they - or do the SF DOL staff fear imminent layoff if the LC queue is reduced and hence sleeping on it ! Or any other specific reason for their inaction?

traking recent approvals
Hi Guys:
I am new to the forum, one of the sufferer waiting for approval from SFO - DOL since last December. My PD July'02 and RD data 06/28/04. My state labor is from Washington state.
Does any one receive approvals for western states recently. I can see that there is movement on CA cases. But one given any update on western states.
If any one receive regional approval from SFO -DOL for western states, please post.

They must have picked a cut off date and moved all the cases from then on to the BECs. What the date is, is any one's guess. Its unresonable to expect the DOL to inform the applicant (I am being sarcastic!!)
