I called the AVM and got this information. Whoever related to these case number, if not known the status earlier, please call and recheck once again.
It looks for other western states and seattle they process 5/24/2004 RD cases. I post this information in this thread, as some applicants like me from western states other than CA (like AZ,etc) may watch this thread also.

Why is so critical to make it in 2004? Most likely I will file my I140/485 in Jan 2005. Any major changes between 2004 and 2005. Thanks,

No Changes if you are eligible for EB-2....

But, if you are EB-3 & have PD later then Jan 01, 2002, you cannot file I-485 in next few months as EB-3 PD Cutoff for as been retrogressed to Jan 01,2002...

gp111, thanks a lot for your help. I did read through your previous post. The job requirement for my Ad is BS+5 years/MS+3 years/Ph.D. These requirements will make my case EB-2. Right? Thanks again,

I am also still waiting. You may check the previous post which put in the thread. When I was calling AVM, I could find they are currently processing 5/24/2004 for AZ. Mine is the same date. But still AVM today also has no update for my case. Probably they may take file by this week. Let us wait and see.

Thank you, my PD Sep-2002. I hope I can make it before Dec-31.

We are ready with all the documents, except my Birth certificate. We are going to file as soon as we receive our LC. LC is approved on 22nd, we are eagerly waiting for LC. My Attorney is very helpful.

Hope so. My case covers under EB2. I am waiting for the official information for my LC from attorney. Mostly I got ready with other doucments. I am waiting for my BC and I have to do other things like medical,etc., Hope you will get your case approved in a week or two. Best wishes. Meet you in next process.
 
Az Processing date

Congrats Srihar.. Do you folks know if May '04 processing date for Az is for RIR or non-RIR or both. The AVM says that for western states processing date is May '04 and also says for Arizona it is Sep '03. Doesn't mention anything about RIR or non-RIR.

May 2004 for AZ- RIR
Sep 2003 for AZ- NON RIR

Here is what happened.
My case certified on Dec 22nd, but we haven't recieved until 30th. Same day we send it by mail. Next is 31 is holiday, mail could't delivered. I think they deliver it to day. I don't know how they treat this case.

Why is it so important to get your 140/485 filed before Jan 1st 05?
What happens if its after Jan 1st 05?
