R U Sure you are posting this in right thread ? cause California (SF) Dol is still busy with 2002 & we have not seen any 2003 Remanded Cases on this thread. Secondly LC does not have categories like EB2/3, it comes to picture only at I-140
 
SF DOL Remand

Hi Gp111,

My case went Fed 2002 November and remanded in 2003 Oct to SWA.

Some similar cases ones remanded in June 2003 to SWA got approved.

Please check your dates and year and the SFO Thread.

We havnt heard any cases beyond Dec 2002 recieved at DOL but you are specifying that your case was remanded in Oct 2003.

Guys, My case has been certified.

code: 999.172-072
Big corporation. Some layoffs in Engineering but not in LA.
4 yrs degree in EE and 0 to 6 month of exp. I had 6 month of exp in a related field.

Have maybe 3 more yrs to get the GC so I'll be writing to you guys on this website later on.

Nice to see more December approvals - lifts my spirits - patience should officially be declared a requirement for labor applicants ;-)

I have similar situation to you which I got 2 assessment notices from SESA. My case was forwarded to DOL in March, 2003. Could you tell me your job requirements, like degree and year of experience, and your education and year of experience?
What is your assessment notice about?

My DOL RD is 12-06-2002
I have not heard anything yet. Looks like DOL is not going strictly by date.
My DOL code is *031.
Has anyone had december approvals of this code ?

What are the two assessments you got from sesa? Did you get a receipt from DOL .How long it took the receipt letter?

I also got 2 from Sesa , once that was answered it was transferred ,but no word from sesa yet.

Heard about 2 certified cases having this (*031) dot code with RD as 16th DEC 2002.
Do not have any other details on this.

Thanks for the info.
However it is not a good sign for me then.AVM still says recd.
Lawyer says not heard anything.
I'll post as soon as I hear about my case.

DOL received date - 12/16/02

Certified on - 15th April 2004

Just wondering how long it takes for the INS letter to reach the lawyer.
 
If company sold out

If company sold out, when LC in the process, what happens!!!!

Please let me know, your thoughts.

AS long as you continue to work for the new company your LC is valid. The I140 and 480 can be applied by the new company.

Are you sure? I heard if a company is sold out, the LC will be invalid probably since LC is bonded to particular position at particular company.

I think usagc is right..I had enquired with my lawyer about this, and she'd mentioned that they (the new company) will just need to file some additional paperwork (abt the purchase of the company, etc) but the LC process is not affected.

you mean DOL not INS right ? I have seen it takes about 1 to 3 weeks in various cases.

Hi mmillo,

Finally I found someone in the same boat as me. The 1st assessment notice pertains to the typo and we amended this. The 2nd one asked us to do a 10 consecutive day internal job posting and we did. Then SESA forwarded to DOL, two days later DOL received it, and we received the receipt notice from DOL in about 2 or 3 weeks.

How are about your 2 assessment notices?

Can I apply I140/485 with company B if I have labor certification with them while I am on 7 th year extenstion with comany A. I will appreciate your inputs.
