I have an RFE from Oct 03 for my wife too. No One has received yet. Sure looks like System Flaw
 
My attorney is contacting them with fresh G28, calling them and sending a written letter to resend the RFE (originally issued 9/24 and not received)
 
The Fax really works...

I too have a email for RFE on Oct 3, 07 for my 485 but haven't rec'd till date.

I faxed them on 15th Oct and my attorney rec'd a reply on 16th Oct...

The IO wrote that there was no RFE issued, infact its a computer error that I got RFE message. She said that she had corrected the error to "Previous Action Cancelled" but I haven't seen an update online.

What number did you fax your request to can you also give me the format of your request. Did your Attorney get a FAX about the Case or mail ?.Please reply as soon as you can and i will do the same too.

RFE's fax number at TSC: 214-962-5428

Write a simple letter that you have not rec'd RFE and are concerned include your SRC # and A#. This should be sufficient.

I was just guessing this it could be computer glitch , houston thanks a lot for update.

I did fax to this number on 10/16, I havent got any reply on this yet ..

May be they would respond only to the attorney...

Rest of the folks from 3rd Oct RFE , please update your status too..

I am not sure of computer error

Hi

I have also received the RFE e-mail on Oct3, 2007. But, not yet either me or my attorney received the copy of RFE.
I have sent twice the FAX to USCIS, but no reply.
I have requested my attorney to contact the IO at USCIS, today she replied to me that they have sent the letter to the correct address (to the attorney office), and she asked me to wait for another week. She mentioned to me that normally 2 to 3 weeks are the obvious time frame to receive the RFE.
However, I am reading in this Forum somewhere that some one have received the RFE within couple of days. Good luck for him and bad luck for us.
I will update the RFE info, once my attorney or I will receive the info.

Below the reply from my attorney:
I spoke with an officer at the USCIS who indicated that it was sent to the correct address. As indicated several times it does take up to three weeks for our office to receipt remands. We will notify you as soon as we receive the document.

ykchakri & others who donot received RFE from USCIS or their RFE got undelivered or Misplaced or sent to OLD address:

The one thing that I want to share with all of you is as follows:
1. I was sent an RFE by USCIS on July 19, 2007, my online message never changed. I found out because by chance I put a query on my case during around that time period.
2. My Online message changed to " a notice has been undelivered, update your address or there will be serious effects on my case" on august 6,2007.
3. I was so worried like you guys that my case will be denied without any fault of mine.
4. I called USCIS 1800 # (using POJ method) like 20 times in 2 months from the time I found out that USCIS sent RFE. THIS DOESNOT HELPED AT ALL FOR ME (may be it will work for you). All I was getting letter from USCIS that I have contacted USCIS customer service and USCIS is working on my case and will give their decision in 30-60 days. CALLING USCIS 1800 was very very limited help on my case.
5. I sent/FAXed atleast 7-10 letters at various addresses to TSC requesting them to resend the RFE (Didnot worked in my case)
6. Made Infopass went to Local office where I found out that my case has been issued NOID probably because RFE time must have been expired.
7. Talked to my Congressman (I guess this also didnot helped)
8. Finally I told my lawyer to file AC21 and request for the missing RFE . THIS WORKED!!!!!!!!! My lawyer got the NOID via Fax ...so what it was???
TB Skin test:eek: So i am in the process of sending it now.
Bytheway ...USCIS sent this RFE/NOID to my old lawyer's address.

BOTTOM LINE what I am trying to say here is :
If you have Lawyers or changed lawyers and have G28 form signed, It is Highly unlikely USCIS will send you the RFE. USCIS expect request from your lawyer to re-send the RFE/NOID letter. So make sure you push your lawyers to initiate the request (not saying that you dont do whatever you can from your side to get that RFE/NOID on your case but you must make your lawyer to initate RFE/NOID request and make sure your lawyer gives his/her Fax # in that request because USCIS is also using FAX these days.

No Response from TSC

I faxed the TSC number that was listed here. I have not got any response back . Guys did anyone else here back from TSC.

what was the RFE about? If TB skin test would have failed the Civil Surgeon would have made a report based on Xray. Was that not done in your case?

In the first I-693 (done 3yrs ago), only chest X-ray was done not the skin test. But USCIS needed TB Skin test to be done..though its positive for most of the asians. The second test need to be performed which is Chest X-ray to negate the TB.

They seems more friendly with lawyers regarding dealing with RFE than applicants, that's what I feel after calling couple of time regarding my missing RFE (issued 9/24). I had my attorney calling them and sending a letter today. Waiting on any outcome.....

Looks like these USCIS drones are just following procedure. I bet that the chest Xray should supersede the skin test. So if chest Xray is clear, skin test is moot.

Well what can one say about this. In my case, I had the skin test, which was positive, so had to get xray done.
 
Sent two faxes no reply

RFE was issued on 3rd oct , its more than 15days no mail yet ..
I sent two faxes requesting for a copy of RFE no reply yet ..
Dont know what to do will call them tomorrow and see what they have to say ..

I hope they dont deny cases for not responding within 30 days ..

I have sent several faxes to TSC. I have called TSC and asked them to resend RFE nothing yet....I have asked my lawyer to wait until next week and contact USCIS. Has anyone else got the RFR :confused::confused:
 
No RFE fax/mail yet, my lawyer is planning to send the TB skin test (which was missing in the original medical submitted) on the 30th day from RFE issued date, if no RFE notice received by then (assuming it's for that), better than nothing
 
My attorney is going to fax and also send in mail today fresh G-28 along with a letter requesting USCIS to resend the RFEs for me and my wife. I hope that would help. But it is puzzling why no one has received RFEs in mail that were supposed to be mailed on Oct 3. It seems many of us who received the email have their priority dates current as of Oct 1. I was happy to see some action on my application after more than 2.5 years of excruciating wait since the last LUD. I really hope the RFE email was not sent out in error, otherwise it will be as if USCIS is playing a sick cruel joke on us.
 
Spoke to my attorney who in turn spoke to an IO. Confirmed that RFE was sent out and its getting delayed reaching the attorney offices these days.
 
I received an email about an RFE on Oct 3rd as well. The first time I called, they asked me to call again after 15 days after the date it was sent. After still not having received it, I called today. I spoke to an officer Vaughn and she told me that it was a clerical error which caused the RFE emails to be sent out. She said that they have been getting a lot of calls about this. I asked her to send me a letter to this point, but she said she can't do that. I asked her if my online case status would be changed to reflect this, she again said she couldn't do that.
