I 485 finally approved.
Never thought I\'d get I-485 approval directly by mail. I was checking my AVM everyday, Tuesday was the only day i didn\'t check. To my surpirse we got our approvals yesterday.
We got our passports stamped today in Santa Ana.
CSC EB2 RIR PD: 10/00 RD:04/26 FP: 10/01.

Went at 4.00 am, wife joined at 6.30, about 30 people ahead,
they swelled to about 50 somehow at 7.00 am. Went in at 7.30
and was out at 8.30. No questions.

Just talked to an IIO. She told me my case was approved yesterday. However, the AVM has not been updated. I checked AVM just before I talked with her. It was stiil the famous Dec

RD 04/23/01 ND 06/18/01 FP sch and done 11/28/01. AVM channged to only spouse as "Dec6 FP received..under review.." . Then AVM changed for both of us as Famous "Dec29..resumed..". The whole GC process was started on June-2000. EB2 INDIA.
I was surprised after seeing the approval notice of mine and my spouse\'s today in my mailbox. The first reason for the surprise was that I haven\'t checked AVM for the past two days (After seeing the trend I thought that it will be April-May for AD ). Second reason was, that I though INS may not send to my new address since I lost my AP after the address change processes.
Any way,
I will try to go to INS-SJC for PP stamping by coming monday, and will the share the experience here.
Again, Thanks for all the people for sharing their experience here to keep all informed which is what required in getting GC. Also many thanks to host www.immigration.com and CIBA.

my case pd 03/97 RD 01/00 issued RFE in nov.01 never received copy got in dec.01 fedex on 12th dec. ins lost it,fax reciept twice with case detail
iio called me on 31st jan 02 told me to fax copies of rfe papers and approved on 1stfeb 02 got the notice today

When you respond for your first RFE, did you send letter that the company change name? Or was bought? how did they found out that there was change in your company and ask you to re do your I-140???

From January 28 to February 3rd we have seen the following
The week started with approval number 63 (Recent Approval thread of January) and ended with Approval no 79 giving us 17 approvals
In February thread we have ended the week on Febrary 2 with approval number 7
Total Approvals from Jan 28 - Feb 3 = 17 + 7 = 24
This week from February 4 we have started with approval number 8
From January 28 to February 3rd we have seen the following
