Mine and my wife\'s I-485s were approved on 02/06/02. We got our courtesy copy in mail on Saturday. My case history is
EB3 - INDIA
04/1998 LC Applied
04/1999 LC Approved
05/1999 I140 Applied
12/2000 I140 Approved(It took way too long here ...)
05/17/2001 I485 RD
07/18/2001 I485 ND
12/27/2001 FP Sched
12/26/2001 FP Done
12/29/2001 AVM - FP collected, pending review ...
01/17/2002 AVM - FP Results reviewed, processing resumed ...
02/06/2002 AOS Approved.
On 02/09/2002 We got courtesy copies and Attorney got the Original Approval notice. My AVM mesage still says 01/17 processing resumed. We will go to stamp our Passports in couple of days.
This board has been very useful. I got lot of helpful hints from this site. I am very thankful to moderators and volunteers like PCee, Ciba and others for their selfless and excellent service in maintaining these tracking lists and summary pages.

I finally got my approval notice in the mail.. AVM still says "On Dec 29, blah..blah..blah.."

ND: July 9, 2001
PD: May 18, 1998 (EB3 - RIR)
Approval Date: Feb 6, 2002

My wife & I received our approval notices today in mail. Our AVM got updated with an AD 2/7. I have the same RD/ND as our ol\' friend Jony Lever. Wow what a relief ;-)
My special thanks to Ciba, Pcee, Vishnu, Carter Yen, Jony and Mr. Rajiv Khanna. This is a great shelter for all waiters!! Exciting home for all immigrants which I will still keep visiting every day.

Approved on 02/12/2002 for all my family members.
Just heard AVM, waiting for my notice.
This whole process took 14 months.

I have a quick question,
I am in East coast now on some assignment. Can I do stamping here ? Does it affect my plastic card processing since I am from California ? Please help......

Here are my case details:

PD: 08/00
485 RD:04/02
ND:04/19
FP:10/30 SJ
AVM: Never changed from "Received your 485 application....." until yesterday
Had called IIO last friday - she had informed case was assigned to officer on 7th Feb.
AD: 02/11 - waiting for approval notice for confirmation

Waiting for the Approval Letter!!

I\'ve some questions:

Am I supposed to get the original approval letter from the lawywer ?
Do I need to surrender my original EAD Cards, AP Notice & I-94s ?? I mean, do they not give it back or do I really need them after I get the approval ??

71st Approval in this month marked 150 total approvals so far since 1stJanuary 2002

..and counting only for this forum for April-may-june.
Approx. numbers of FP done for these 3 months is 265 so it is a whopping percentage.
In less than 30 working days.
