re interview cq

hello, new to the forum. today i received a letter saying i have a re interview cq ....
i already pass my test for citizenship and on my interview the officer required me to send some extra documents( copy of taxes and paystubs) so i did. and today i got this letter. i do not know much about the process. what cq means? is it good a have a 2nd interview
my case is based on marriage and the interview went ok in september. my second interview is in december 1st....any coment is aprreciatre it...thank you guys... this is a great forum

It is possible that they want you to bring your wife or husband--which one re you? :confused: During the first interview, was your spouse present or it was just you? :confused: In some cases, USCIS might feel that they need to see both the wife and husband to have a sense of certainity that you two are still hot for each other. Naturalization based on a three year rule requires some ballz, because USCIS views this as a big step...;)

Just prepare or make an info pass to see if the letter maybe was send by mistake, no need to worry about it. If you and spouse are still hot for each other, then you have nothing to worry about..:D

Unless you write in detail about your N-400 case first, it is not possible to give any meaningful advice. Also, why did the IO ask for Paystubs? Whether it is marriage based or employment based GC, I never heard paystubs issue during interview. Do you know why they asked for paystubs?
 
Maybe they are trying to find out if you marriage is real since there has been so much fraud I think they are being careful with everyone who applies based on marriage. So if all your papers are in order and you have a great marriage then you shouldn't worry about it =)

But why paystubs for a marriage based petition?
 
He said copy of taxes and paystubs maybe to see if he claimed his wife as a dependent and filed taxes together?
 
thank you... i am the husband , i am being requested by my american wife. i brought mytaxes and paystubs because i only got the originals when i went so the officer ask for the copies. we r married for 4 years . also, we have filled join taxes and have bills and rent agrement under both names. same as insurance. and all that. my green card expires in 2018. maybe i rushed into but is not a reason to denied or it does not mean we r fake... we are a young couple 20's ... last 3 years had to pay taxes so income is not a problem... thank you guys a lotttttt sorry for the mispelled... any input
 
I don't know what CQ means but what you said looks pretty good, if you have everything in order like you say you do then you shouldn't worry about it! Give them what they ask for and wait for the good news =)
 
cq is sometimes used as an announcement call (ie notice) in communications.

Did you receive an interview results letter after 1st interview in September?
 
thank you. so this is what happened. sorry ..i went to the interview, tested bout the us citizenship material and asked questions. pass it. but he said i needed to send copy of originals of taxes and paystubs and registration for our cars. ( ihad originals w me but i need the copies) .,.. i sent what they wanted asap in september and today i received a letter with the second interview notice....
 
i did not receive any letter till today. the officer said to sent the documents missing and they will review it... no letter or anything until today.....

By law, they are required to give you an interview results letter (I-652) after first interview.

I would go schedule an Infopass and request the interview results letter from first interview. Ask for a supervisor if needed.
Without it, you have no hard evidence that an interview was conducted.

Depending on one's OTHER itemized deductions, and if the wife works, the number of deductions claimed on a paystub may not be as informative. The tax returns / transcripts / etc would have this information of course...
 
sorry bout that.. the officer gave me a result letter.. they asked me to sent the copy of taxes, w2, and paystubs..also said i pass the test. ...so i mailed it...thank you for the time to answer me

Most likely they want to verify the information you provided along with validity of marriage.
 
thats what i thought.. they only ask for my presence.. not hers. also, i did not felt any bad vibes in the interview and i sent all the info they requested... should i worried?
should i take the paperwork i need again to the 2nd interview?
 
did wife participate in the interview ? This is bit strange...If you have all docs, you should not be worried. still do not understand paytsubs....
