Processing time for green card based on asylum

Hello, I received the update below via chat with a live agent. Do you think we are close?

Your case is processing normally at the FO. An officer last reviewed your case on 06/09/2025. The time it takes to process your case depends on the type of application you filed, whether you filed the application with all the required evidence, and how many other people are applying for the same benefit. Because of the variable nature of processing times, any estimate that USCIS gives to its customers is only an estimate, not a guarantee.

Thats the standard reply everytime. I was told I should get it by end of Feb 2025 now its already June.

I havent done that yet. I should do that soon.
If you are past the inquiry date , why havent you raised a case? who promised you february, call center agents and you believe that? or you spoke with a T2 officer, nobody promises a date, you can be advised of the processing times and be given a link, we all hope for the best, those of us who waited for over 7yrs for interview have learnt the virtue of patience. Update us if u hear anything.

I had put in a case inquiry the same default message "we are working on your case" came. I talked to a call center agent who told me they are reviewing my case and should hear back by end of feb.

I took my time today and spent hours on the uscis report, please if you read , find a book, if you watch movies pick good ones , grill, drink responsibly &celebrate 4th of july, theres nothing meaningful in the report or figures that you can extrapolate to make any form of logical deductions, the numbers are as random as they are meaningless, if asylum green cards are processed by NBC , how come NBC has 0, if they are processed per state , how do you determie what city, for example if i live in austin and my attorney is in dallas , what city am i aligned with, conclusively approvals are only by the grace of God mixed with a little element of luck, so i am going to enjoy this 4th of july, i ask you do d same...enjoy my good fellows/ladies

I agree that the immigration process involves mostly luck, someone could wait 1 year for a process that we wait 8 years. With that being said there are other opportunities that you can use to do your best. Inquiries, mandamus, follow ups one of them, once you have done them, you need some patience and wait for the results.

Well said both of you. It’s definitely a rollercoaster — sometimes it moves fast, sometimes not at all. I’m learning to focus on what I can control, and not lose my mind over what I can’t. Patience and persistence, with a bit of faith — that’s the formula. Happy (early) 4th to everyone celebrating!
