Processing time for green card based on asylum

Hopefully!!! I started to get out of patience hmm now it’s 15 days and no decision yet! The weird thing is medical RFE means your file was opened and they waived the interview but can’t approve the application until you send the medicals so why the hell they even take more than 1-2 days to approve the case if they have already opened the case and found no need for an interview!
Maybe I should be a head of USCIS once day and change all this crap

Hi guys.. when we get approved i-485. How many letter USCIS will send to us? They sent welcome letter i-797 and greencard together? Thank you

2 letters, separate. I received letter first, next day green cards. If you check usps informed delivery, check package delivery.

hello,
It will be almost a year since I got my asylum approved.
I will apply for a green card soon.
I have some questions tho

A) why do I see people apply for Employment authorization and travel document with their I-485 ? I assumed it's unnecessary since you can work with your asylum status and travel with your own passport and green card ?

B) for question part 1- 26a on form I-485 , do I use my new I-94 or my arrival I-94 ?

c) "receipt number of underlying petition" I won asylum through court so do I include my USCIS receipt number or leave it blank since the court didn't provide me with such number?

thanks for the help!

A) You don't need it. Some people apply for it because it's free. Refugee travel document is good to have though.
B) I put my asylee I-94.
C) Skip it.

I got approved Asylum status year ago. Now I want to apply for i 485, my attorney asking me to bring a lot of documents to approve which you was one last year in USA. Is it normal? Because I don’t have travel document and Green card yet, they have to know which I can’t go anywhere out of US. But anyway I starting to get all that papers.

Question:

1) Did some of you with asylum status applied for Green Card last month?
2) What kind of documents did you add with i 485 form?
Thanks in advance!

take a letter from your work that state your employment date. it would prove you in the country for 1 year and add recent i94 on cbp website .

you can always travel with your own passport ( if not expired ) so it's not actually a necessity , correct ?

for the I-94 , when I arrived I got a B2 I-94 stamp , now that I got asylum that I-94 changed. on the I-485 form the questions seem to be about the arrival , don't you think ?

I will be applying soon so I did a heavy research about the matter!

you don't need to bring a lot of documents , just important ones
to prove physical presence just get documents that covers long period of time
for example : W2 , paystubs , rental agreement or even electricity bills which you can find online which give you the usage during a period of time.
the most important thing is that YOUR name and address are on them.
my top 2 options I would say are the paystubs and W2s
