DOL Dates ?

HI,

I just got upgraded to the Phily DOL thread recently!! :)

My PD is July25th, 2001 and SESA has forwarded my case (EB2 -RIR) to Phily DOL on 23rd September,2002.

I don't have the dot codes for my case. How do get a status from Phily DOL.


Any help will be apprciated.. Please also add my case in the DOL status tracker..

If you go through this thread throughly, you can find a lot of information which might be useful to you if you have LC pending in Phily Regional DOL..

Anyway one can call Phily AVM system; (215) 861-5286 and get status regarding his/her case. You need employer phone # (one can also find that # on PART-A of LC Application), to access that information. If your company had filled multiple LC application, then you might need to do some guessing based on dates and DOT code.

If nothing works then call (215) 861-5251 (her name is Kelly) and speak to her as if you are the employer and doing query about pending LC at phily DOL. Don't even give her a hint that case you are interested is for yourself....

I am kinda new here...just heard that my application got moved to Philly DOL...so here I am.

Does any one know what is the avg time Philly DOL is taking to process 1 month's applications?...I see that some ppl have their Labor certified between 2 to 2 and 1/2 months...

Hi All,

A notice of finding (NOF) was issued to my case regarding "Prevailing Wage". Need to increase the prevailing wage and submit the labor application again.

I feel that the above NOF should not be a problem except for the delay of about a month in the overall approval process.

I have seen people getting LC approved within 3/4 day's after sending reply back to DOL regarding NOF/RFE on LC Application. One of my friend (Employer) who has a company in Harrisburg applied for two of his employees and both had same problem on their application (i.e Prevailing Wage). Once my friend increased they modified the Application and resubmitted, they got approved with 3/4 day's.

Hopefully you will get the same result. Tell your employer/attorney to respond back asap.

I saw that u applied for Programmer/Analyst as ur DOT COD is same as mine. What was your salary on application when u filed.... like Was it >55K or <65 ?????
Becuase Mine was 65K when I filed........

As far as I know, Prewailing Wage is different for each state and different for each region in that state for a particular occupation code.

The wage on my LC application was around 50K. DOL has asked us to increase it somewhere inbetween 60 to 65K for my region.

DOT code

Hi,
How to get a DOT code for a specific job. My title is Database Administrator so is there any way to get the DOT code for the same. I tried to find out by name in the link provided previously but could not get the DOT code. I am still waiting for the approval from VA SESA but regualarly read this thread.

New to this forum, My application moved from state to regional office on August 13 th. My lawyer does'nt have any case #, tried with employer phone # in AVM end up with no information. I have added my name in that list next to 08/15'th just to follow up.

Put that # as "039162010" and select CODE, DOT.

Else search by topic using Database, u will get 15-1061.00 (SOC code). Both are same...

No more approvals lately

Looks like they are picking few files on the shelf in random everymonth and processing them to show the government and the petitioners that they are reducing backlogs. That's why those few approvals for July & Aug cases while majority of cases are on the shelf. Comes next month, they would pick few September cases for approval.
