How can I find out the case number for my LC application? It was sent to DOL on Sep 25th.

This question has been asked atleast dozen times in this thread itself..........If you go through this thread throughly, you can find a lot of information which might be useful to you if you have LC pending in Phily Regional DOL....

Anyway, One can call Phily AVM system; (215) 861-5286 and get status regarding his/her case. You need employer phone # to access pending LC information. One can find that phone # on PART-A of LC Application. If your company had filled multiple LC application then you might need to do some guessing based on dates and DOT code.

If I were you, I would certainly go for LC in Delware. According to DOL website following are the dates they are processing:

Program Title........Regular................RIR

Delaware................Aug 2002...............Aug 2002
Philadelphia............Apr 2001...............Apr 2001

And this is just SWA(SESA) dates, you can certianly add another 4 months in above dates for Philly Regional DOL.....

guys looks like email is not working but today my case on AVM says reply received for NOF...my attorney has sent the response by 11/04 but its updated on 13th....dont know when they will certify...

All.....

Even when we are keeping "tracking list" few time on a page, it is taking a lot of space in our thread. I have created a excel spreasheet and added all the listings. We can just keep updating spreadsheet and upload into the thread as required. It will allow us to exchange more relevant information per page and also in thread, pages won't fill up that quickly.

If enough member feel the way I feel we can continue to use spreadsheet else old way of putting "tracking List" in response window is also OK with me.....

all/any comment/suggestion are welcome.......

I hate this slow LC process. This is really an upset and annoying waiting process. I don't have ANY appreciation for the bureaucratic goverment system and for the people who are handling this for us, Do you have ?

I have waited for almost 18 months. This is one of the most radiculous things in the world. :mad:

Updated spreadsheet with some old cases which we took out as "tracker list" was too long. It will help new members to estimate roughly how long Philly DOL takes to process the application and also what is the trend at DOL office.

NOTE: Please make sure no one has checked in the spreadsheet since you have last checked out.
 
e-mail DB is Updated w/ 11-13-02 updates.

e-mail DB is updated and I checked my case approval through e-mail also.

As srifin said, it is taking longer to get the reply back.

I don't understand why some of 08/02 cases are not yet addressed. Some of you got same DOT as mine.

My Employer (in my presence and on speaker phone) spoke to Ms. Hawler at Philly DOL regarding my case, and it is still pending. According to Ms. Hawler they are still processing cases recieved in July. When pointed out by my employer that some of the cases Philly DOL have approved recently having RD in Mid Aug., her response was "we have more then one analyst working on cases and probably those application went to people having less load and eventually got approved". She was also saying that starting next week they will be working on cases recieved by Philly DOL in Aug. I guess she thinks Philly DOL will be done with July cases by the end of this week.

People who have recently recieved good news regarding their approved LC, kindly also update "LC Hard Copy" column in the spreadsheet. It will be really helpful to people who are still waiting for LC.

Thanks very much for your prompt reply and I am happy to see that atleast one company cares about the GC process of an employee and his feelings.

I tried to explain the same to my lawyer and to my employer and they don't seem to care or give importance to my concerns or feelings. Unfortunately I couldn't get anything from them.

But I got the email system reply and it still says that it has received the applications and still has nothing there too.

Hopefully Ms. Hawler is right and lets keep praying that they clear our cases before thanksgiving.

Looks like our turn has come dude...I was in same situation when my friend told me case filed on 08/09/2002 was Cleared....
Its just matter of days now....I am sure there will be light at the end of tunnel.....
It is little intersting to see apporaval Pattern
033798XX case not cleared 08/08/2002 and
033799XX case is cleared 08/09/2002
(these are cases of my friends not included in spread sheet)
Email system is updated after Batch run in the midnight and. Update Emails are available only after 5 A.M

I just checked my LC is issued Notice Of Findings(NOF) but my attorenty didn't receive any NOF from DOL.How do I approch...Please advice

Is there any Customer service number can I reach?? :confused:

Most probably employer/attorney will recieve a letter from Philly DOL stating the problem with application. But you can ask your employer or attorney to give Philly DOL a call and find out in advance why NOF is issued and start doing relevant paperwork...
