Does it take while for the AVM to get updated. My lawyer said my case was transferred on Jan 15th but there is not update in the AVM as yet. How long does it typically take for the case to be entered into the AVM system?

It takes about 15 days for the update. My case was transferred from VA SESA to Philly DOL on Jan 5th and the AVM was updated on Jan 21st with a receipt date of Jan 8th.

Occupational Title for Database Analyst

Hi -

Do anybody know if "Programmer Analyst (030.162.010)" is the right occupational title for Database Analyst.

Or Is there a different code for DBAs

I got a salary query back in July 2003 from SESA Delaware, my company has answered the query.. after that from philly DOL we have recived a letter saying my application has been recieved. I filed my LC in NON-RIR - EB2..

So far no news from DOL or SESA.. SESA did not ask my comapny to file for ADS.

IS any one faced this kind of situation..pls reply..

I got a salary query from delaware initially once we replied they asked us to advs. after doing that we got a reply from phili saying that they recieved it. But i guess your case is already in DOL so you would not have to worry about the advs.

Hi Guys,

Here is some news for us. I know one person from my company whose case was received on September 22nd by Phily regional DOL and it got certified on friday.

NOF

NOF was issued to my case on 01/21/2004. I will post details once my lawyer get that info.

RD DOL : 08/20/2003.

Checked AVM to get this status..

Does anyone know how long does it take after the employer responses to the NOF to get response from DOL???

Certified LC..

Hi guys,

Wanted to share the good news.. My LC has been certified. Status was posted on Jan 22 in AVM.

Details are:
EB2 RIR
SESA: MARYLAND
DOL Recd: Sept 19, 03
DOL Certified: jan 22, 04

This has been an eternal wait for me and I do share your feelings and anxiety about waiting in this LC queue.

It has been good going with DOL these days, I saw a lot of cases approved (Certified) quite fast in just last 20 days.

Just for reference mine and colleague of my co.

R/D date at DOL : Sep. 8 and Sept. 9th
Certified date : Jan 7th and Jan. 23rd.

Getting ready for next battle in 140 & 485.

How to track my DOL processing?

Hi,

My labour moved to Philly from Delaware in August. My lawyer gave me a tracking number as 203190. How do I find out how is happening with my labour.

Is there anyone whose labour is received in Aug has been approved by feb-labour.

Hi! Here is our updated tracker.

TO sheela_booshan: you can check your case in Philly DOL
215-861-5286
You'll have a prompt there to enter your employer phone number or case number.
Sometimes the answering machine does not work. If you are getting the busy tone, be more patient and try again.
It takes them 15 days to update the machine (according to some ppl in this thread).

Using Available LCs

Hi,

Here's a question for everyone on Labor Certs.

My company has one available certification which has a higher salary profile that what I have. The avaible LC matches my role, but has salary of just 6K more than what I have.

Is there any way of using this LC for my labor?
I would love a salary hike to obtain this LC, but that won't happen in the near future. I am wondering if LC has a salary range for that role and I should be able to use this LC.
Also, whats the best way to match this profile other han a hike in salary?

Any clues are appreciated.

Thanks for providing me the phone number to verify the DOL certification.

When I called it is asking employer tax id? Can I find employer tax id in the W2 form or in the pay check? I want to avoid asking the employer.
