Status Check

My Case details as below. I did call 202# number to get the details.
Officer told me that the Status Moved from "Final Review" to "To be Certified".
Anybody have any idea, How long it will take for certification.

State : CA
PD : FEB 2003
RIR/EB2
case # : P-04296-*****

What did you say when calling 202 number ?

I had called yesterday and they told me that they can just give information to Lawyer or my employer. I even didn't mention that I am employee?

Your help is appriciated.

I am from DC and my PD is close to yours 04/12/2003. Went to regional with all recruiting requirements done in 2004, got 45 day letter in Feb 2005 as well. Wow! i was so psyched!. but then its been over a year since. I hope we see a ray of light soon
 
My Employer Called the 202 Number

Hello All,

I requested my Employer to call the 202 number to check the status and they told her that it is in Processing Queue...Can anyone explain what does it mean? :confused:

My Details:
State: NJ EB2
Processing Type : RIR
Priority Date: 04/17/2003
45-day Letter Replied :FEB 22, 2006

Does any body know what the "RIR" mean in status field of screen shot?

I got the screen shot from DOL, the status field is: RIR.

Does that mean it is not even in data review stage?

It means that all you need now is the rubber stamp. You will receive your approval in the next 2 to 3 weeks depending on the speed of their mail room :) Congrats

When did your case status become FINAL REVIEW? Anybody has idea how long it takes to move from FINAL REVIEW to TO BE CERTIFIED?

I think you can expect your approval notice in the mail by the end of august :)

It means you are in a dark tunnel with no end in sight. Good thing is you r not alone!

Based on my signature, can anyone give me a rough idea of when should i expect the approval, if everything remains normal. I need that idea just to make some decision. Would appreciate your response.

whats the best approach to get an status
i know i called some 202 number long time back but
the analyst mentioned that it can reply only
to the employer or attorney.
any suggestions

I think that it is a realistic expectation for you labor to be approved by YE2006 if not sooner. Consider the backlog they must clear after your PD in just 9 months. This assumes that the backlog will actually be cleared by Sept 2007

I would say october or november. Keep in mind that this is only a guess, especially considering the fact that you are TR (Hopefully, they will treat TR that made it to regional as RIR or faster since the supervised recruitment was done by DOL and therefore should not be in question ....)
