Surprising to see this lots of differences in standards in just two BECs..
I think there will be multiple sets of rules that might be applied to select and approve the applications within each BEC..established by different group of workers.
Offcourse BECs can afford to be inefficient in all ways and still survive since their customers are the most vulnerable 'immigrant' community.

WHAT ABOUT PEOPLE GETTING CERTIFIED UNDER THE PERM!!!! Are DBEC people better than those?
Even in DBEC only REGIONAL RIR CASES ARE BEING TOUCHED. What about the TR SWA AND REGIONAL CASES and the RIR SWA CASES in DBEC. Some in the 2001 PDs and there are some unfortunate RIR regional cases who have not heard anything at all from DBEC.
WE need to join forces irrespective of where we belong, DBEC or PBEC. I am saying this even though I am Dec 2003 PD in RIR line (and I believe mine is a Regional Case).
We have a bigger Gorilla to fight and lets fight it together. We are fighting amongst ourselves so much that we are driving people away. We need to UNITE under the BEC banner and fight highlighting us in the light of PERM people.

Do you know that there are cases in the I140/I485 threads whose PD is March/April 2005. I see cases being approved within a week and such.
