Philadelphia Backlog Elimination Center Tracking

got it!

Too happy to see someone said 'approved '..

it is from someone, not sg101 ...

:(

Exactly, SG101 is talking about sb else's case. It won't be a surprise if it turns out to be from Dallas.

Also yesterday's update that some attorney got 70 cases approved, all from Dallas, confirms my believe that the practices between 2 centers are somewhat different.

Sorry, dude, maybe we are on the slower of the 2 slow lanes.

MDWatch,

Your situation is somewhat similar to my wife's case:

MD SWA
Type: EB2 - RIR
PD - 08/2001
Philly DOL RD - 10/2003
Philly DOL Receipt Case#: P2003-MD-033-9XXXX
45-day letter: Not received

It's weird that she never received the 45-day letter like you. And we are worried that her case might be lost. Do you have any idea?

While I see mugur got his LC approved on PD=4/01, there are still some not even received 45-day letter. How can we check the status or case#?

If I were you I would either contact our senator (you can find who it is depending on your location by going to the US senate website) and ask them to inquire about your case OR/AND you can try by contacting the Maryland Foreign Labor certification person. I did that and she confirmed by fax that my case had been transfered to Phily BEC in the last box they shipped ...

How did you get Philly DOL Receipt Case Number? Did you get it before the approval?

Didn't you get it? When the LC case was sent from SWA to regional DOL, Philly DOL sent a notice letter confirming the receiving.

Can anyone tell me:
WHEN was the LAST DATE Philly DOL still processing LC?

It's weird that if my wife's case is in Philly DOL already, we should get the 45-day letter in no time because it's IN PHILLY. Or could it be approved already? That's why I asked for the LAST DATE. I did see some MD cases eariler than ours still not processed though.

Hi Raj,

Is it possible for u get some more info (exact PD/RD date, Regional case #) etc.
Based on this, we can then check against the data in flcdatacenter.com data sheets and get an inditation of the processing..

thanx,
icici

Statistics anyone ????

It will be interesting to see a breakdown of number of cases by month beginning 2001 upto 2004.

I have seen one such document before, but I thought it was relevant only to the Dallas BPC.

Anyone here who can confirm or deny this ???

This shows what they say is F**** FIFO! ?

I don't think they are following FIFO for adjudication. Just to please the Immigrant community they approve some cases. Good luck to the person but bad luck to all of us. What about the cases APril 2001 to June 2001. I tell you
they doing this F*** business to screw us. Had enough.....

This is exactly what i'm trying to do... I'm waiting for the response from this person. I will update you guys about his details..

thx, Raj

Fifo would happen at year level most likely..

I have been viewing posts for last few days , read aprllc2002's notes..also looked at the tracker.....In general looks like the FIFO would hold at the year level...that is..2001 cases would be done first then 2002,2003 and so on... This is my speculation only ....In the
tracker xls highest percentage of people getting 45 letters looks like from 2001.....During the year again there might be some contradictiory movement to FIFO like Oct cases getting approved before sept .....

July2001 PD approval looks in line with aprlc2002's projections....If aprlc2002's info holds true there would be a lot of 2001 approvals in this month/next month...

Of course this is just speculation based on info on this thread alone....No flames please..

NJ PD-Jul2004

Tracker

The tracker can be found at:

http://boards.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?t=161571

Today I added the 600th record to the tracker.

There are 419 records for people that made to Regional DOL
The rest are SWA records which tells me SWA people are still underrepresented in the tracker.

The tracker includes reports that may answer some of your questions so do please take the time to look at the reports.

I would also encourage you to review your info and post updates especially if I have missed your 45-day letter.

Good luck everyone.

Spidey,

see attachment. That XLS lists number of unopened cases for every month received by regional DOLs by October 2004. Raw data is taken from http://www.flcdatacenter.com/CasePerm.aspx

The previous time I posted this XLS the query counted all non-certified cases, but now I've changed query to count unopened cases only as it makes more sense for all of us.

Igor
so r those for both RIR and TR cases?

gp111,

I did summarize by Rec_State_Office. But after double-checking, this date is usually somewhere between Rec_Local_Office and Rec_Regional_Office (puzzled about what that could mean...). For my own case state and local dates are the same. Thanks for noting that!

XLS contains both RIR and NON-RIR. As the total of unopened cases, there were 37885 RIR (Reduction_In_Recruit = -1) cases and 7646 NON-RIR (Reduction_In_Recruit = 0), which surprises me quite a bit.

Attached XLS file is rebuilt using Rec_Local_Office.

If anyone wants to play with queries:

1. Download file from DOL's web site and add Rec_Year and Rec_Month to the table as Integer columns, save the table changes

2. Add and run query to calculate months:

UPDATE Perm_external_FY2004 SET Rec_Year = Year([Rec_Local_Office]), Rec_Month = Month([Rec_Local_Office]);

3. Add query to calculate totals:

SELECT [Rec_Year], [Rec_Month], count(*) AS [count]
FROM Perm_external_FY2004
WHERE Last_Sig_Event='Received Regional Office'
GROUP BY [Rec_Year], [Rec_Month]
ORDER BY [Rec_Year], [Rec_Month];

Look - there are poor guys waiting since 1003 :)

Have fun :)
