In NOID, they will state a specific reason for denial. However, NOID is only issued when you're still in valid non-immigrant status (hence no referral) so I'm not sure if you will ever get a reason of denial for your case.

For asylum, prosecution is the driving factor. You have to be prosecuted or fear to be prosecuted by a prosecutor. The prosecutor can be your home government or it can be an entity that your home government is unable or unwilling to control (e.g., gangs in latin america). However, the burden of proof is way greater if the prosecutor is not your home government. USCIS can argue you can relocate within your country or that your non-government prosecutor has limitied capability to prosecute you.

thank you makes sense. I could be wrong but the Houston Asylum office is known for mishandling the interviews. Also I never had a good vibe at interview. The black women felt biased and intimidated, never asked follow up questions. didn’t probe much. Didn’t account that its a minor involved. she was xxx xxxx

I have rental property in Virginia but my W2 is not there. My kid attends a school in Texas as well. can I use my rental property’s address?
btw I want all of you at Houston Asylum Office to be extremely careful. After my conversation with the attorney, the houston asylum office has been sued multiple times for mishandling and bias. the DEI hired black staff is incompetent and this is a proven fact.. if you are in the upper middle class be careful. they will dent ur case because of envy. another person who was a business owner also got denied and referred. If u get referred to EOIR in Dallas, then its a lost cause. The AG appointed Trump endorsed judges are a bad news. People waiting for interviews if possible, relocate to a non racist state immediately.

Doesn’t matter if somebody is black white or brown, it’s about the asylum office and their views, asylum offices like San Francisco have a better approval rate because most of them are from California and California is have a liberal views, same for Newark and Chicago, but it will be tough for you to win in Houston, tampa or Miami
