PBEC - State of MA - EB3 NON-RIR case tracking

ETA number

What is your P-05.... number? the first part only

My ETA number is P-05172-7****.

I was hoping there was some sense of FIFO for Non-RIR so that I could gauge whether to convert to RIR. Lawyer is ready (more $$$), employer is ready (reluctantly)....I am now confused whether to proceed or not with the conversion, given we have an MA case with 04 priority date with advertisement and a potential RI arriving. I hope this is a good sign and that there will be a flood of RI in a week or two for MA 03 (and earlier cases if any) cases also.

That is good

I checked the AJB site by doing a search on case number. It looks like the PBEC has posted the advertisement for my case. I haven't heard anything from the lawyer about this though. Does someone know how this works ? Does the BEC send the recruitment instructions to the company 30 days after advertising or does this happen in parallel ?

My case details are as follows
EB3 non-RIR/MA/March 2004

Congratulations!!. From what I have been following RI should follow very shortly with the date the Ad was posted as the start of the Recruitment Effort. The Recruitment instruction will have the details of what needs to be done. From one other post in this forum that received RI (lawyer), the user seemed to indicate that PBEC offered around 10 days to complete Recruitment and that the user would post more info once he got the paperwork. I have not seen a follow email on that. If it is short turnaround then I guess it is good.

Good luck and keep us posted.

I think EB2 matters much more than RIR.

I hear these rumors that if you transfer completely to EB2 you can get even I-485 approved in your hands within 6 months. If you have Labor approved and still have to wait with the EVERYBODY assigned as non-skilled labor (BS from MIT with no work experience and doughnut makers) for the I-485 for like TWO-THREE more years, it doesn't make much sense to have the LC cleared fast anyway.

It's been exciting wathching the RIR line moving fast but if you think about the I-485 and how slow it is going to be then it is not :) at all. I mean, we see a light in the tunnel now but unfortunately it is from the coming towards us train :)

If you haven't seen the info on other Posts :

The second part of the P-05000-xxxxx number is a sequential number starting at 0 and to 99 999. After it reaches 99 999 it resets again. The first part of the P number goes as the days of the year, so there are no repeated numbers. Somebody calculated that every month were entered 100 000 cases in the PBEC. So if we have the number P-05190-00000 then we should have the number
P-05220-00000, approximately.

Cheers

It seems the recruitment effort needs to be completed in 30 days. That is if we could receive the instructions :(

Mine is EB2 I think (masters requirment)....and the priority date is current the last time I cheked ....if only I could past this labor stage.... But then I look at all the other folks still waiting since 2001 and don't feel that bad. My/Our turn will surely come!!!!

Congrats on the EB2, I should have waited until I had MS to do the GC. Now, apparently the company refuses to transfer from EB3 to EB2.

No job offerings lately.

Another month has gone by

Another month has gone by and still no RI. If anyone in this MA forum has received RI please post your Priority Date. There have been over 50 job postings for MA and it would be nice if someone here shed some more light on where we are headed with this. I was thinking of putting the RIR conversion on hold hoping there would be some information from DOL regarding the current Priority date being processed but it seems it is too random. The lawyer and the empoyer do not seem to want to talk. The former is too busy and the latter hates lawyers.

There are 58 Jobs for MA

I am wrong. Only 1st 3 cases are with number P-05171. There are also 172, 173, 174 etc.

I have noticed all the jobs they have posted recently have case numbers starting with 05171. What is this 171, 172, 173 means? This may give you an idea when they will start posting 172 or 173.

Some of the ETA case number: P-05171-73292, P-05171-73437,
P-05171-72886

Has anybody hear or see any data showing progress for EB3-MA- RIR/Regular?
I am following the Non-RIR scene closely and there's no development on the MA front as far as I can see. I saw another posting on AJB for an MA position today (last one was on Nov 10). However, there's no information to base any predictions on.

Thanks ma_nonrir_eb3 for the update.

BEC posted 145 jobs today. There are many technical jobs. Most of them are from NJ. There is only one Job posted from MA http://www.jobsearch.org/seeker/job...ch_JobId=36091959&JobSearchType=CompanySearch.
I hope the way they posted NJ jobs today, they will post MA jobs like that.
This job is a little different from others in its ETA number, its P-05241. Most earlier ones have been in P-0517** range. I wonder if anything can be inferred by that. We'll have to wait and see.
