Opps I did it again!!!

Guys,

Just today I received my IL. Interview date is on the 28th of July at 10 AM in Baltimore DO. I did not expect it so soon after my 2nd FP, but I will take it. I thought I will go crazy when I will get this mail, but I was not due to prolonged frustrations; however, I am very releived at least for now. I have few question though:

1. Do I need to give another test even though I have given my Civic and English test with my 1st FP?
2. Since my interview is on Monday at 10 AM in Baltmire DO, do you think I might be lucky to get a place for same day oath?

I will come up with more questions soon. Can't thank all of you enough... without you guys, I would have lost all my HAIR and in this hot weather I could have made omlette on my bald head... there would have been more accident in the beltway with sun-rays on my head reflecting to others...birds would have found a plain landing spot for their wastes... Slowly my hair is comming back now... Like that dude in the ad for Safeway, after everything in done, I might be a suitable model for Rogaine ad....

Thank you all for all the moral support and wonderful suggestion and ideas... eveything you guys told me to do worked for me.

Hope everyone get their IL soon.

Congrats from the city that Never Sleeps. I am sure everybody is happy to see you go forward with your hair restoration project. And hopefully you will have full hair restoration the interview day since you will get the oath the same day.- :cool::cool::cool:

I am not sure about your questions, but it wouldn't hurt to study the citizenship questions just in case.

as to another Civics test - my opinion - prepare for civics even if everybody else says don't, you never know with USCIS.

YAY for you. listen, my interview in baltimore DO was at 1:40 got finished at 2 and still got same day oath. so your chances are high, if all goes well.
also, did they give you a piece of paper that says you passed the test? if yes, you're good. you won't have to retake it

If you took and passed the english/civics test during FP, you won't be required to take it again during the interview. I believe you were probably given a piece of paper that said you passed, so you should definitely take that with you.

... regarding Interview Qs, I am pretty sure until now you might still remember quite a lot so a bit brush up on the material and you will be ready again for those questions.
Now, I think your hair at least has grown back couple percents, so don't forget to update your hair loss percentage in your timeline :p:p it should be less than 20% now...

Congrats man! It seems that everyone is getting their ILs, slowly but surely. You should campaign for the USCIS to pay for a Hair Club for Men membership, to make up for the unreasonable delay of your application!:D
 
Congrats bro! I was happy to see this post. Hopefully you should get the same day oath as your interview is early in the morning - of course this depends on whether or not the Baltimore DO conducts oaths on a daily basis.

I hope you will decide to stick around after you become a US citizen as I'm sure your sense of humor will be missed!

I am heartened to read kind and inspiring words from each of you. Without you guys, this journey would have been like trying to swim the river and cross the desert in Arizona with other fellow migrants experiencing mirage due to the glow on my bald head… it would have been agonizing and unending…

I know I have often been rude, but it was all for fun and never I did to disgrace anyone from my immigration portal family. Not Rogaine, but your affection has been doing wonders. Day by day, hair by hair, I am seeing the fruit of irrigation. Everything the astrologers and fortune teller asked me to do was futile. But your suggestion to write letters to First Lady and Congressmen did work. I wish that everyone here get their case cleared in the near future so we all can vote. Wish you all a great future and you guys will be in my prayers! Last but not least thanks Mr. Rajiv Khanna for creating such a wonderful site. I have learnt so much in this site. I will be back!

I do have that paper that said I passed the exams; however, I do know the responses to some of them:

1. How many stars? Looking at the sky I will say uncountable at once!
2. What colors are US flag? Using my intelligence, I will respond depends on who makes it!
3. Where do Dick and Bush reside? Get nervous and then unzip my zipper!
---then the examiner will at least know that my hair loss is not heriditary!

As you can see, I got my IL last Friday, so we'll definitely be voting!
