IT SEEMS LIKE FOR THOSE WHO CONCURRENTLY FILED (FILED I-485 WITH I- 140 APPLICATION OR FOLLOWING WITH I-140 RECIEPT), INS IS EITHER APPROVING I-140 FAST AND HOLDING BACK ON EAD/AP/ RECIEPT OF 485, OR ISSUING EAD/AP FAST ALONG WITH I-485 RECEIPT AND GOING SLOW ON I-140! I MAY BE WRONG BUT I AM GUESSING.
ANY COMMENTS BY ANYONE?
 
I-140 Approved

According to online status check, my I-140 has been approved on october 11. The AVM is still giving the old message. My details are:
case type: EB3/Non-RIR
RD: July 30
ND: July 31
AD: October 11

Filed I-485 in September. Details for 485 are:
RD: September 09
ND: September 19
FP due on: October 29 (Chicago)
Haven't applied for EAD or AP.
 
Did anybody receive EAD and AP with I-140 approval?

KP-MP/ any others who received finger print notice please help

when you received your fingerprint notice did your on-line message changed from your initial message( when you received your LIN), please clarify.

FP Notice not received YET.

Filed concurrently for I-485:
RD 21st Aug 2002
ND 23rd Aug 2002
No news about EAD or AP.
Hanging in there.
It sounds as though they are suddenly shifting gears and processing I-140s. and possibly even I-485 etc., I believe NSC has/going to hire few more resource of 485 processing.
I believe there are cases where EAD was issued even prior to I-140 approval on concurrent filing. But could be very few.

You sent me mail via RupNet on FP issue. I filed concurrently for 140/485 on Sept 13. I received a FP notice for November first week. No, nothing has changed on the INS staus check site.

Questions: If I get a FP notice, does it mean that I will get EAD soon? Has anybody gotten EAD without 140 approval?

Lot of other people after my notice date (26th Sept-02) from Illinois received Finger print notices, I am concerned is there any reason I did not receive, I am not from Chicago area, 200 miles south of Chicago is this have any effect. What will happen if notices lost in the Mail? If any body with experience please clarify.

My I-140 with RD/ND Aug 09 02 EB3 is pending.

Received RFE

I did concurrent filing of I-485 with a copy of I-140 receipt. Now the INS has send an RFE on Oct 15th 2002. My lawyer hasn't received the notice yet. She might receive it tomorrow. Kind of anxious about the notice. I will post the RFE details here when I hear from my lawyer. It might be helpful for others. Here are my details:

I-140 filed under EB2-RIR.

RD: 07/15/02
ND: 07/18/02
RFE mailed by INS: 10/15/02

I-485 filed with RD: 08/15/02 and ND: 08/21/02.
Gave finger prints on 09/24/02.
Not yet received EAD or Advance Parole.
 
I140 approved, add me on the list

I140 approved in one week

Its hard to beleive but my i140 got approved in one week.
RD: OCT, 10
AD: OCt 18
Waiting on the approval notice by mail. The online case status says that it was already mailed.
