approved - 10/04/02
Attorney office called the INS two times after my amended I-140 filing. The information they received was that my case currently not assigned to any body.

According to the INS website, my case is approved. The details below:

EB2/RIR
RD: 06/27/02
AD: 10/07/02

Filed 485 on 08/13/02.
Spouse received EAD.
Finger Printing done for me and my wife.
 
RFE question

When a case gets a RFE, does it say on AVM or online regarding what evidence is asked.
I have seen on this website when a person gets RFE on a particular case, the next day he/she gives the details what RFE is it about.

Hi,

you filed u'r applcations concourrently & you got approval of i-140, so INS nebraska is approving I-140 first and than it would approve I-485, Is that happening in all cases or is it only few since i am planning to apply concourrently do u think i should wait for my I-140 approval & than file I-485. please post u'r suggestion.

been reading various messages on this board re: I 140 approval tied to I 485 approval in cases of the I 485 being applied with the receipt of I 140. Can someone with the good fortune of having got the I 140 approved in this scenario throw light on this?

what did your RFE say, CHANDKN

I just checked my status online, and it said they sent a notice out yesterday requesting additional info. My I-140 was sent in on April 2nd 2002, after more than 6 month waiting, that's all I got. Is it possible for you to share what they want on your RFE?

Zhennl,

INS can pick on anything...

1. If your qualification doesn't match with LC application.
2. Company finances.
3. Experience letters

These are the major ones. It's just a RFE so you don't have to worry, you attorney should be able to manage it.

Do you have any idea what was the requirement in LC ?

I don't know what the requirements are in LC. It was handled by my lawyer.
I hope it's nothing major in RFE. I never consider myself a nervous wreck, now with the immigration stuff, I think I need XANAX or VALIUM sometimes.
I'll let you guys know what it says on the RFE once my lawyer gets it.

How did you get your RFE so quickly? Was it dated 10/08 or you received it that day? Whitout knowing what they want, I just dread this coming weekend. All the anxiety, the waiting, the guessing......

1-485 RD: 10/07/2002

on 10/09 the AVM and on-line-Status-Check were both saying that my case was still pending, but on 10/10 both of them were updated to say that the case was approved.

Hi,

I have got my I-140 approval recently (RD/ND Aug 13th, AD Oct 9th). I did concurrent processing with I-140 receipt notice. I did not get a RD for I-485 (My lawyer sent to INS on Sep 12th).

I believe I may have got my I-140 approval in 60 day I-140 approval policy of some centers when concurrently filed. I may however be wrong. But I think they are holding off on EAD/AP processing until they determine I-140 will go through (I don't know how and when they usually do this).

Mine is a EB2/RIR case if that helps.

My I-140 is approved. My case details are as follows:

RD/ND August 13th
AD October 9th
LIN 02 260 55 XXX
Category EB2/RIR

Concurrently filed I-485 with I-140 receipt notice on Sept 12th. However I did not get any RD yet.

I will be going for AOS.
