Re: shortened version of the letter

We need to change HR 2371 to HR 3271 in the letter

guys,

I took the letter and streamlined it a bit, with the help of a government relations expert from our company.

I have submitted it to Sen Clinton and Schumer (I do have a NY address both for home and work) and will submit it to some of the other suggested recepient.

While it leaves out some of the detail of the original letter, I think it is a bit more persuasive.

For anyone who would like to use this version I have attached it to this message.

Let's start firing out of all cylinders with this one!

RIR rejected in NY, now what?

RIR submitted in June 2001 in New York, now it came back rejected. according to the lawyer, my company has to re-run the hiring process and my case CANNOT be filed until after 12 months!!! --- that is, if no one was hired again.

Can anyone has same experience share your information? Is there a chance to speed up this process? Is there a way to appeal? I almost went crazy on the news. But it might be good for some people since it might be an indication that NY started processing after April cases, but don't take my word for it.

ooh

sorry about that news maxie...really its bad and crazy news becoz mine is also RIR/EB2 ..i dont know what they'll do with my case..

regarding letter i already sent to some people , i didnt sent to NY senators becoz i dont have NY address

keep posted..all the best

maxie , i am sorry to hear about that, what was your position when you applied , what is the date of applying and why would you have to wait for another 12 month to apply , is there a possiblity to change your case to be none RIR , you should ask your lawyer about that

do you know why was it rejected?

Maxie,
sorry to hear but do you know why was it rejected? I think you have to talk to the Lawyer about this and take a day off and meet that lawyer. dont come out until you are convinced.

As you know , how we are counting the days like babies for our turn and I am sure you also waited like us so long.

I am sure the lawyer can do something for you.

Good luck

reply of the letter

here is the reply i got from this email address onestop@labor.state.ny.us

first the person wrote this :

I have forwarded your correspondence to the Division
> that oversees this
> function.

Then i sent a thank you mail.

here is what i got again :
We are receiving several of the same exact letters, can you tell me who
you
represent?

I am not sure what to reply. Somebody please give some ideas. May be the person is scared that we are coming thru some lawyer.

I think we can discuss in this forum about who is sending the emails and who is sending the US MAILS etc.

can you guys stop sending the emails until this is finalized?

Thank you,

Also, It is nice to know that we are getting replies for the emails especially from the Labor department. I am sure guys, we will get an edge on this issue soon.

Let us cooperate.
