New thread for missing case

So I talked to this officer who did leave a voicemail on my cell phone after all and gave me his #.

He said they were replying to my fax inquiry and that my case was assigned to an area where they pickup cases for review and adjudication.... this was done on august 2nd.

whatever.... coincidently thats the same date that i received my
"We responded to your inquiry...."

He said my cases status not available online MIGHT have to do with the fact that its in review ....

Whatever... don't beleive a word..

I think they should all become lawyers or run for president. they have different excuses and explainations every time....

Just got an email that my case is approved. It was missing since 8/10. So everybody, keep your spirit high, approval is coming!

I want to know if there is anyone one whose case status is still "we response your *******"."


This will help us guess the reason why our cases are missing

I noticed that my wife's case is missing for 2 days, and yes, her previous status was "we response your ..."
 
Called USCIS

Called NSC feew min. ago and spoke to IIO. For a change she was talking nicely ( was not expecting from USCIS). She ageed to forward my case to CSC office along with problem related to online/AVM status problem. She took my phone number & best time to call. Lets see if it helps at all. I'm not too hopeful about it though.

Missing Case

Our Cases are Missing too. This is after we made a fax enquiry. On 8/3, the status changed to "We responded to ...". Since 8/10 its been missing. The Fax reply that we got said that it the case was in the adjudication area.

WAC0312*: APPROVAL (that's for an I-140)

My case went "missing" on Aug 9, came back and then started a cycle of missing-available (always missing in the morning, then available in the evening).

Today, at Aug 12, 7pm, I received an email from USCIS with the approval - stating that the notice was sent yesterday. The case was still tagged as "missing". Only several minutes ago the online status also turned to Approved.

Like other posters, I believe that when a case is missing it indicates that it is being reviewed. Maybe the record becomes locked and unavailable to online query due to a bug.

Hang on there... approval is coming!
 
Just now my case was moved from "Missed" status to "We received your fingerprints on April 2002 blah blah........" The LUD also changed to today's date. My wife case is still with "missed" status
