Came back w/o approval. Got following message:

On August 12, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.
 
I just got a mail, also my online status is updated with the following message

"On August 12, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or
information. It is taking between 660 and 660 days for us to process this kind
of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining
processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will
receive a written decision on this case"

We have replied to the RFE last week which asked EVL, paystubs and last two years W2s.

Mine came back from missing saying "On June 19, 2002, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received...". My wife's is still missing. No second FP yet.

Case missing on phone system

Hi,

My case is missing on the NSC phone system since it was filed. Its available online but sometimes I get error online as well in the evenings while checking the status.

EB2 Original Labor CSC
I140 + I485: RD - 06/30/2004, ND - 07/07/2004
EAD + AP : RD - 06/30/2004, AD - 07/30/2004
FP : ND - 08/02/2004, Appt Date - 08/19/2004, FP Date - 08/12/2004

not sure whats going on.

why cases are missing

it looks like there are 2 reasons for cases to dissappear from on-line status check. one is that case is under review and will be approved (or FP notice will be sent, or some other changes will happen). This reason was noticed some time ago and probably applies to some cases in the list above. The second reason for missing came into view just about a week ago and looks like retiring status message. The message "We responded to your request for information about your case..." was not one of the standard messages. It first appeared durin this summer. Then somebody in CIS decided that message is completely useless (in contrast with almost all other messages, this one does not contain any information about the case). So, the message 'We responded..' was canceled and correspondingly, all cases that had this message became missing (since there was no message for these cases). Now there are 2 ways for case status appear again: one is that some real new message for this case will appear (including some approvals), another is that old message (the one which was there before 'we responded') will appear for some cases.

I noticed something strange with the latest scan. My day, WAC02078 has basically disappeared from the scan information. So it seems that the missing cases are not reflected in the scan data at all.

One more observation. Now I got only one email when my online status changed. Previously I used to get 2 mails for every change. Were they trying to fix this glitch for the people whose status is changing?

What does missing case status imply? My husband is the primary applicant and his status is popping up but mine is been missing since last week. The status reads as follows

"The status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center."
