AVM : Case has been recieved... (from the start itself)
EAC #: 01-116-xxxxx
Checked AVM last night and found that my case was approved on Dec. 11. Never called. Live in Maryland.
PD: 8/1999
RD, ND: 3/2001
FP: 8/14/2001
EAC-01-126-xxxxx
Checked my husband\'s AVM, it\'s still "Case not found". I\'m the primary applicant. He had 2nd FP on 10/3/2001. Anybody had the same experience? Thanks.
It seems that INS is using PD to decide approval given the same dates. Specifically, I have noticed that among the approvals with RD/ND around middle of March, it has gone to folks with PD around 01/00. Therefore, for those with PD the middle of 2000, I am curious how long it is going to take.
But still nothing come out yet. Remember, INS consistently works inconsistently. Never try to predict their behaving. Actually we can\'t do anything except keep our fingers crossed.
Hold on everyone, our days eventually will come. It\'s only matters of a little bit more time.
Once INS has started with the March 01 ND\'s they have gone by PD\'s.
My friend had an earlier PD but his ND was later than mine by about 2 weeks. But he got his approval. I am still waiting.
ALL cases are queued initially by RD and then if one case is picked by an adjudicator it sits in a smaller queue of the adjudicator. Based on my knowlwdge VSC has about 50 adjudicators and each handles all types of cases (read: not only I-485!!!) so some fast-hands can handle faster and some are very slow due to vacation or off-duty training, some are nice and some are picky... It is totally based on the odd that who picks your cases and how your luck is. I don\'t think INS can do anything about it themselves
