I would say lets not postpone. Lets have it on the scheduled time 4PM on Saturday. No change!!
This week we have snow problem, next week some other problem, who knows. This is the first meeting anyway, lets meet for sure and share our views. Atleast lets start the process.

According to weather.com , tomorrow it looks like heavy snow whereas today it is moderate...
and Sunday it is wind and cloudy...
Lets poll tomorrow afternoon and decide what we shall do... I would love to have this weekend but at the same time we should be cautious also.It is also equally important to make our first meeting successful....

Meeting Postponed
Hi Team,
It's still snowing heavily and the weather is pretty bad. I have talked to some of the team members and we all felt that it's not possible to meet today. We don't want any one getting into an accident while trying to come to the meeting. So let's postpone it to same time next week (4pm on 12/13).
The core team conference call will go ahead as per schedule at 5pm today.

I am sorry that i was extremely busy with hectic office work and also hectic activities as a core team member in this forum. Today (12/12), i even had a conference call with Rajiv Khanna to discuss about the Lawsuit that we are planning. So in the midst of all that i forgot about our NJ team meeting. I guess it's too short a notice to wake up every one in this holiday season. I guess we can't do much in this holiday season (meeting congress men etc). Even if you send petitions to congress men, they won't be in a mood to look into this at this moment (holiday mood has begin every where). So i guess we better have a conference call some time later than trying to meet now. What do you all say ?

You should have called us

You should have called everyone and told them about the cancellation - you had everyone's numbers. I had cancelled all my programs for Sat. to make to this meeting. Ofcourse, when I reached rajum's house there was no meeting! And it seems earlier in the day only you had decided to not have the meeting - then should you had not called us and let us know? You had confirmed to me a few days ago that the meeting was on!

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. I had infact called every one who was to come for the previous meeting. Since you were not available for previous meeting and i havn't spoke to you before, i forgot about you. Actually last week, i was very busy with core team activities . I had a conference call with core team on Thursday and a conference call with Rajiv on Friday. My pre-occupation with those activities overshadowed our NJ team activities.

Even I didn't get any call about this weeks meeting, I was prepared to come and was looking for confirmation on this thread. Instead of conference call, can we discuss the issues here in this thread? We are wasting time in scheduling/rescheduling meetings and not discussing any thing.
The problem is we don't get commitment from people by just discussing here. This forum is good if we want to discuss something, but not if we want to DO something. That's why we are trying to meet. Don't get disappointed because of the cancellation of the meeting (and please don't frown at me
) . If i did a poor job in cancelling the last meeting ( i surely did a poor job), there are some strong reasons behind it. I will tell you at the appropriate time. Believe me, i am into much bigger things as a core team member and those actions are going to be significantly help our cause.DECCAN EXPRESS
