Labor Update

My case has moved from NJ to NY DOL on 07/13/04 (My employer got the postcard from NY DOL with the case#).

Labor filed : 02/29/2002
Received by NJ DOL : 03/01/2002
NY DOL : 07/13/2004

Can someone please update the tracker. I went back several pages in the thread but could not locate the spreadsheet.
 
CAN SVD

UPDATE the excel sheet if their cases moved to NY.

What is a way to get a proof of filing an old labor from beg. 2001 for 245(i) eligibility in case contacting employer/employer's attorney is not an option ?

Can I start work after receiving receipt

Hi Guys,
Was wondering if anyone had thoughts on this...

I was on H1 from Oct 1999 to Aug 2003. From Aug 2003 till now I am on F1. Now I would like to file for a H1 visa. Can I file for the H1, get the notice and start working immediately or do I have to wait until Oct 1?

If you are filing a new H1, you have to wait until its approved. You cannot start to work just with receipt - now or Oct 1.
 
Updated Info.

Went thru' couple of pages back and updated Info. in excel sheet as of today

Can inusa2000, SVD, akhilan, pain_labor, Gottaget and others for March & April cases update their INFO on the excel sheet if their cases moved to NY.

Alternate labour process

I have been waiting for more than a year and 10 months. I am thinking of getting another labour done. What do you guys think?

I also saw this news. Any idea if it will speed up the current process.

July 20, 2004 the U.S. Department of Labor issued an advance copy of the long-awaited labor certification backlog reduction regulation. Expected to be published in the Federal Register on July 21, 2004, the regulation should be effective August 21, 2004, 30 days from publication. Changes will allow for the transfer of pending labor certification cases to centralized processing center/s to clear significant backlogs in labor certification cases.
 
Move to NY Regional

My labor application has moved to NY regional on the July 16th.

NJ Recd on April 1st 2002.
