Sept 4 was approved.

Hi, guys,

I just run the scanner for LIN032605xxxx and got the results below. Somehow it said accessing LIN0326051014 was denied and then the scan process stopped.

Nice job but your Scanner list is bit confusing. Canyou plz try to remove the un approved LINs from your list and the dates correctly popullated.

Do not know what to interpret from these results.. Seems like still random approvals going on. Also do not know when the pace of approvals will start to pick up..

You are right, there are some random approvals and late updates, for example this case LIN0323850863 when I ran the scanner this morning it was not updated but after you ran this later it shows approved, probably there must be few cases approved but not updated
 
From what it seems ,there could be three batches of people working on cases
1)Aug 1st week
2)Aug 2nd Week
and
3)Aug 3rd (+4th Week)

May be they want to deal with cases on whole month -by-month basis rather than the sequential order.. ??
It could be that the cases are handed over to officers on a monthly basis...

Slow Processing

Have they slowed down in Processing 140, we do not see any good number of Approvals
 
Each and every week, we are thinking that we will see more approvals next week and nothing happened. If H1B cap is reached last week then why is this delay in I-140 processing? From running the scripts, we see very few approvals. Are we really going to see any approvals soon? :confused:
 
I read some time ago that TSC is transferring several thousand cases to the Nebraska and Vermont Service Centers to reduce their backlog (as TSC is the slowest...)
And this is probably adding to our delay..

Also I was shocked to read this

"If your case was not receipted prior to this [..processing] date, please do not inquire as doing so may slow processing"

No wonder my case is getting delayed ...I have probably called them at least 5 times by now !! :)

May be after this evening's scan results we would get some picture of how cases are getting processed/week and we could speculate based on this week's results.

It seems that the document is very old, and not sure it's applicable for the current situation.

As per my understanding, "Nebraska" is the only region processing I140 cases in a short period.

surprising... good number of approvals on SATURDAY !!

They seem to be in the range of 8/11 -8/18 cases and any previous ones.. and surprising to see lots of approvals on saturday.. I know they sometimes work on saturday, but approving these many cases on one day ??

We need more saturdays !!!!!!!!!!

Problem scanning the cases

Today I am trying to run the excel file to know what cases were approved, and after a couple of successful scan ranges, it started giving a popup saying, I am denied.

When I goto the uscis.gov website to check the status of a case, I got a message saying because of the large volume of the queries, the facility is not available. It says, this is for the clients and representatives to know the online status bla bla..

I am just curious to know if everybody is getting the same problem.

please read my first post carefully, you will find the answer... I have written about this in CAPS as a warning..

Don't worry, in your case wait for 24 hours and you can run the tracker again..

I think nebraska is picking up the steam.. lots of approvals of 8/15 ..

Hi,

How many I-140 cases we have in NSC in average everyday?
They are approving 10 cases in one day..thats promissing.
 
They should be getting more than 10 cases a day for 140 but 10 cases being approved a day is not in speed with number of cases received in day
 
I140NSC, 10 approvals a day is may not be correct..

what I am scanning is the data that is currently in the excel in my first post.. there are about 300 I-140 cases from dates 8/4 to 8/28 (almost alternate days). This is what I am tracking, and the cases #'s from 50000 to 52000 only...

I am not scanning all the dates and all the I-140 cases.. The reason I am scanning is to identify the dates NSC is concentrating on approvals.. That way I can tell which is date that is currently INS is working on.

Did you scan for September 2003 cases? Any approvals recently???

naanshi,, unfortunately no, I am not scanning september and beyond with my excel file. As you know my id will be blocked every day if I scan new dates every day.. and the site won't allow to scan more than 1000 cases per day. Even Aug scan also is not for all the dates( I skipped 2-3 days in between), it took me long time to get whatever is in the current excel I posted here.

I think who ever is downloading, should post there results in the excel file and update here (like I-140 tracker), that way everyone need not run again.. Someone should take that initiative.. I will be posting the results of the scans everyday till my case on Aug 28th gets approved.
