N400 denied

Could anyone know how many times we can reapply for USC if N400 is denied before? Thanks
The number of times you applied before has nothing to do with your eligibility. Your chances of future success depends on the reason for your prior denial.

If you were denied because of a crime that is a permanent bar to naturalization, you'll never be approved no matter how many times you try. If you were denied because of a crime that is only a temporary bar to naturalization, you may be approved if you reapply at least 5 years after the crime and have maintained a clean record in those 5 years.

If you were denied for insufficient physical presence or continuous residence in the US, or insufficient residence in the district, you can be approved next time if you wait until you have accumulated (or redone) enough time of residence and presence.

If you were denied because you applied via the marriage route and you got divorced or separated during the N-400 process, or you couldn't provide enough documents to show the validity of your marriage, you can apply successfully again if you either wait until you have the documents they want, or you complete 5 years of residence and can qualify independently of your marriage.

Is it even possible for such a person to apply twice? Any such crime
must be deportable.

Maybe you can share with us why you got denied for a better answer to your question.

Although Jackolantern's answer is great maybe there is something else someone can help you with or have an answer for.

9 times denied  and he keeps trying :eek:

where is this person going wrong / or is his case a total lost cause and he keeps trying hoping someone will let him slide by :p

His English is pretty poor and he has difficulties in remembering things. He's an older gentleman. :)

Oh in that case I really feel bad for him and I truly hope he one day has success :)

Edited to add : that I admire his persivirience(SP?) I was a wuss after I got denied my first time (lack of continious stay ) I was so down on myself I didn't even want to try again until I talked myself into it and I am mailing my application out tomorrow.

If my application is denied due to lack of good character (such as not telling the truth about speeding tickets but discovered by IOs), can I reapply afterwards??:D

Unless you have a really spotty record that warrants unusually extensive background checks beyond the usual scope, you'll be fine. The USCIS doesn't check driver records.

so did you mean I do not have to mention my traffic fines in the form? All under $500

By the way, my wife's gonna file N400 next year. She stays home and takes care of our sons. I dont know if IOs ask her about job, income tax? Will she be fine with that?
