May, June 2005 Approvals - Biometrics Yet ?

Suggestion for Detroit Applicants

No Biometric or card for 06/15 approval. I am from Detroit and called USCIS two ago and told me to wait till 60 days passed. I suggest for Detroit applicants to contact Michigan Senators/representative after 60 days has been passed and no bio yet. I am planning to do it next week.
 
Biometrics notice at Detroit.

I know somebody who got biometrics-code 2 and completed last week and some others got notices and bio scheduled some time end of August in DETROIT. Their I-485 is still pending. So what is the difference between their bio and our bio(after I-485 approval), why they are getting if ASC is busy .. non-sense .. its useless to collect fp 3 to 4 times from who does't need it and ignore who needs it.
 
If Detroit area is taking so long to send biometrics notices then they should atleast stamp out passports. Why are they give such a hard time to everybody.

For all you guys who got approved, Can you please post what is the status message just before approval. How to know if we cleared the name check or not? If I get this message does it mean I am safely over the name check and just awaiting final approval for my I 485?

This is my message: " On July 19, 2005, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made. "

Today recieved the ASC biometric notices for Detriot for me and my wife for 09/22/05.

Cards received- Freedom on Independence Day (India)

Hi All,

I want to share good news with you all. Me and my wife received Green cards today. So end of long journey (total one year 8 months, from filing labor) without any bumps and got total freedom on Independence Day (India Independence Day on 15 Aug).

Biometrics done no LUD change.

Completed biometrics yesterday and no chnage in LUD or message ?. Is this common. I was looking at post people are getting messages with in couple hours of card ordered. Is any problem with our case.
 
Bio notice

I am from Metro detroit area. My 485 was approved on 06/27/05. I got my Code 2 ASC Biometrics notice yesterday 08/15/05 for 09/23/05

We went today to the Detroit ASC center with tickets showing an overseas travel on 09/05/05. They took our biometric and today evening received email that the cards have been ordered.

I went to ASC today and requested them to take biometrics. No luck. ASC did not take my biometrics. ASC said that they are issuing biometrics notice for the cases approved between 05/01 - 06/01. I guess I have to wait couple more weeks to get biometrics notice. My case was approved on 20th June.

No biometrics or card till July 23, 2005
Called USCIS on July 23, 2005 (after 60 days of approval)
Received Biometrics notice on Aug 1, 2005 for Aug 11, 2005
Biometrics done on Aug 17, 2005
Card ordered on Aug 18, 2005

Hopefully, I will receive them in 1-2 weeks
 
Biometrics received

Approval date June 15th, 2005. Received the biometrics yesterday for sept . Live in Detroit metro.
 
No Biometrics notice yet!

I live detroit and I-485 approved on June 30th.. not received bio yet! Expecting this week or early next week .. i saw somebody who's case was approved on June 23rd got bio notice.

I got my I-140 approved yesterday. Any tentative idea as how long will it take for I-485 to get approved? Mine is a concurrent filing at NSC.
