Coz around that time the INS mail
rooms got backlogged due to a flood
of illegal-legal applications.

Hi PCee, plz update the list, I received the EAD cards for me and my wife today(11/21/2001). Another landmark crossed. EAD was approved per AVM on 11/07/2001. Now just waiting for the final milestone, the GC(I-485) approval.

I just realized that some how you are not there in the summary list(s) I prepared! I don\'t know how it happened! May be you never posted your RD, ND in this thread before OR by mistake I just missed your data. Any way after looking at your post I wanted to gather all your information and I realized that there are somany mails (there are even couple of threads) with your name. After going through all those responses I guess I gathered all your information correctly. Let me know if I made a mistake.

By the way I noticed that you congratulated every one on their AOS approval. It\'s really nice of you.

congrats rrash on getting EADs.
 It was a long wait for us.
 Actually the AVM is misleading.
 It said "on 11/2 after approving ..card ordered etc".
 Now it says "this case has been approved on 11/16..."
 so we still have to wait for AVM to change to the second one to actually wait for cards.
 
News from a friend..

I just spoke to a friend of mine who also filed in May and his 485 got APPROVED!! His WAC is also same as mine WAC-01-233 and he and I did our FP on the same day. He is from Phoenix.

He filed his labor back in March 2000 and I filed mine in October 2000. So I am not sure if INS is looking at the PD and processing cases in that order..

Anyways, I think this is very positive and I hope we all get ours soon..

I checked, MAY 21 RDs have wac no 237 etc...
My RD is May 15, and Wac is 235...
I think something is wrong !!
