My 3nd AP also approved today.

Applying for 3nd EAD and AP now.
 
I had an infopass appointment today to enquire about my case status (particularly to know about my correct PD on I-485). She was saying someone started reviewing my case on August 15th. Not sure if she was just looking at the LUDs (like us).

At the end she was not able to view my PD from the field office. :(

But i am hoping some good news. :eek:

Is your PD current? Are you EB2 OR EB3? Which is your country of origin?
Please share this info with us so that we can know what is happening....

What could be the reason behind the massive LUD changes? Looks like only the old PDs have been updated.
Somebody mentioned that they might be transferring cases.....what happens if they do so? Will that delay/speed up the process??

Please provide any insights that you are aware of.

No it's not current. Please see my signature for my case details. My actual PD is 08/21/2002 (EB2, India, sub-labor). But the I-140 shows PD as 09/22/2005. My attorrney sent a letter to USCIS for correcting the PD. We have not heard anything from USCIS whether PD is corrected or not.

I am hoping as the year is ending USCIS may move some of EB1 visas to EB2 (india) cases.
 
Let me give a pathetic reason :)
As we all know August is "vacation month", so I guess CAC guys just refresh the LUD for most of the cases to make us hopeful so they can pack up and have some days off.

I dare anyone who can point out some approvals during the last few days.

Give up guys

1) The LUD update has happened not just on the same day but almost at the same time, which means it is an automated one.

2) Obviously no change in message for anyone.. and it seems to have happened for many number of people..

3) there are cases of recent (2muchtowait's family filed in MAR 2006) filers getting LUD change.

4) there are cases of old cases not getting LUD change... I saw in another thread in the same forum.

there are lot more reasons.. so give up guys.. CSC cannot do anything until the name check gets cleared from FBI. FBI will never go out of their process.. they are not going to clear old cases in particular, without going through the usual process.. even if does, CSC does not have man power to update so many cases with the name check clearance in the same day...

just think logically.. u will soon realize that these are just internal changes which might be due to any reason.. dont waste ur time on this..

Good news! I received approvals emails for my family. Their LUD also changed today.
My case still has old LUD and status shows pending.
It is very much possible that the online status is not updated properly. I know some cases where the case was approved a few months ago and online status still shows pending.
I will be waiting for paper mail in next few days.
