When can we expect receipt notice?

I knew one my friend filed on December 2nd week, he got receipt(JAN 2nd week), EAD and Finger Prints as well on March 2nd week.

He is so lucky guy, he started the green card process on June 2001, he got Labor in One Month (Pittsburgh) and I-140 in two months, just waiting for GC.
 
Rames / other gurus - Please clarify.

Hi Folks, How long is it going to take for our approval ? Are we going to get the GC before December ? Right now July 2002 RD cases are getting approved. Can you guess weather there will be more cases or less cases between October and December of each year ?

   Going by the present trend & also statement from Ziglar, one can expect even earlier...But here are the factors that contributed to the following trend:
   a) Very few H-1\'s and also less H-1 transfers this year because of recession
   b) reduced labor approvals and hence less I-140\'s and I-485\'s after Novembers
   c) No significant improvement in Family based immigrations.

  But if the market picks up and hence H-1\'s and also filing of labors, then the processing times might go up.

Wish we will get green cards by December.

Great news!

I just got my finger print notice for 5/11. I lived in North MA. I saw that people with my zip code got finger print notice for Manchester. But thank God, my finger print is in Boston. I hope all of us get finger print soon.
 
sidr..if I could guess your EAC...

I could very well guess the next weeks lottery, and then get the investors visa instead of this freaking employer based visa.

Hope I had the "guess of the lifetime" one day
