By the way my wife and daughters's 485 had a rfe regarding our marriage verification. But the good news which I want to share with everybody is that if they experience any such problem, all you need to do is go to the Indian Consulate and they will issue a marriage certificate, which takes care of the problem immediately, irrespective of whatever documentation they have asked you for, relating to marriage.

I just called the 1-800 # for TSC and before dialing all numbers I got connected to someone (very polite lady who asked me for my SRC #)

She then told me that they don't have any name check information available at this time but did tell me that the cases filed in May, 07 are being processed at the moment.

Good news for May Filers who have their dates current - they might see their GC's coming in very soon.

Not so good news for June Filers with the December Retrogression! Had December bulletin been the same we all would have got our Green Cards as a Christmas present. Chances for them getting to June cases are very bleak with just 5 working days left in this month.
 
Also with the prediction for more retrogression coming our way I would not be surprised that anything will happen sometime soon atleast till the first quarter next year. At this point only thing we can do is keep your fingers crossed and pray that the dates start moving forward slowly.

I hope what you say is indeed the case and that my name check is also cleared. I have an LUD of 11-25-2007 on my I-140 which was approved in November of 2006.

My case is similar, I140 approved in July 2006 and the LUD on it changed on 11/11/2007. I hope you guys are right....
 
Can someone advise?

Any suggestions on this case would be appreciated?

My EAD came in early August, there was just one LUD on I-485 after finger printing (07/03/2007)

The last LUD on my I-140 was 07/27/2007

Labor Priority Date - 08/29/03
1-140 Approval Date - 07/26/06 LUD - 07/27/07
1-485, AP and EAD filed - 06/01/07 (NSC , transferred to TSC)
1-485, AP and EAD receipt dates - 06/07/07 (TSC)
Finger Printing : 06/28/07
AP received: 08/02/07
EAD Card received: 08/02/07

1-485 LUD : 07/03/07 (None after Fingerprinting)
 
These people are insane!

It's not our fault that they opened July for the whole world without realising that they wouldn't be able to handle the work load.

They are nothing but a bunch of fools sitting there and playing with our lives.

Thanks for the clarification.

Even though this is for Naturalization, with further retrogression expected for EB2 cases, June filers may have to wait for a while to hear on I-485 approvals!

Relax folks. This process will take its due course. For the time being, be happy for others whose spouses can now work once they have EADs etc.

I say, "Don't Worry, Be Happy!" One day, some day, we all shall get our GCs... 'til then, enjoy life!
 
well USCIS was processing I-485 for applications filed on Dec19 2006 on october 15 2007.
It now is processing April 14th 2007 on november 16 2007 ( next month). So we are in good shape....Just be patient ( duh...as if we have a choice)...[/

LUD on 140

Hi folks,
I am surprised to a LUD on 11/25 (which is a thanksgiving sunday) on my already approved 140 in 08/2004. Actually the 140 which was approved in 2004 is from my previous job in EB2 and I am claiming my old PD. But there is no LUD on my current jobs 140 which was approved in 2005.

I dont know why there would be LUD on already approved 140's few years back. Can any guru throw light on this. I dont have any LUD's on all 485's after a LUD on FP.

Hope PD moves fast

I have been monitoring the USCIS site for a year now , too bad they moved the PD data for EB3 to May 01 ,

i got my EAD and AP approved , same for my spouse
i got my EAD approved within 6 weeks , but for my AP i had got additional info required , they had misplaced my birth certificate , but after my lawyer had send the BC i got AP last week

PD 01/02 EB3/india
labor filed 11/01
labor certified 01/07
I140 Prem process March 07 done in just two weeks
filed 485/765/131 RD 6/26/07 ND 7/20/07
EAD APP 8/28/07
FP 8/26/07
AP APP 11/20/07
485 pending , last LUD on 8/26/07 and then waiting

YOUR Name Check might be cleared. I have seen this pattern. Call IO and check.

Anybody got AP approval from NSC for filing date around July 20,2007?

Is it ok to travel CANADA without AP when ,

(1) Visa in Passport is expired.
(2) H1b valid (I-94 ) up to 2010.
(3) I-485 pending

please reply.
