Do you know on what basis they said everything will be done by OCT 26? Is it they added just 3 months from your St Louis data or for EVERYBODY PENDING they have a target to complete by Oct 26. Any help is appreciated.
Also how they are saying that your PP is not data entered. Did you give your PP no and then they checked?

The same reason as Ojnabi posted. After OCT 26 they cannot
stamp visa without bio metric. So the DC office will somehow finish
all the applications by oct 26 and send back.

I've some good news to share with you. I just called the visa office 202-663-1225 and in less than 10 seconds an operator has answered my call. She said that our visa applicaitons(H1 and H4 ) were approved today and we would receive them in the next week.
I've been desperately waiting for my passport because my driver's license is expiring on 28 of this month and I need my passport and original I-797 for license renewal.
my application (H1 &H4) was received by St.Louis on 6/25
Looking forward to receive my FedEx packet.

Got PP with 221(g) saying that the picture sent by me is not meeting the requirements. Am asked to resubmit to send before 30th September.
Request the guys who got this query and resubmitted and others to tell me which is the best place to take the picture.
Also, Updated my info in list.

Picture problem
Hi Swas,
The problems that were marked on the 221(g) are
1. The photograph must be a FULL FACE VIEW and blah blah..
2. The photograph must have pnly WHITE OR OFF-WHITE BACKGROUND and blah blah etc.
But it my view these problems were not there. Anyways, I resubmitted yesterday again after taking picture at Kinko's. Now, I am waiting for the result.

Sorry, in the table, I wrote my name as nboga. One of you had earlier asked what date I had mailed my passport on.
My passport reached St. Louis on June 17th. I got it back on August 12th and the visa date is August 6th.

Hi guys,
I sent in my revalidation application on June 26th and was hoping to get it back this week as I was planning to go India for my sisters wedding this weekend. I called the Visa Office (DC) and the lady told me that there was no way I could get my passport back this week, as it was entered into their system (I'm assuming the DC system) on August 7th. I told her that people who applied in the same time frame as I had already had their visa's renewed, she said that this depended it which 'box' my application was put in to get entered. I guess it depends on the box your application is in, and explains why some of us have gotten theirs back and some have not.
She also told me that there was a deluge of applications in the last days and this slowed things and reminded me that it takes 10-12 weeks for visa revalidation.
I guess this means I'll have to skip the wedding.
