I Think
EB2 will be current.

EB2 will be current.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Be mild on a newbie . No harm in being optimistic, right?
Here is my estimate for June/July bulletin.
Warning! This is just guess work, not actual info..
EB2 China will become current and India will jump at least a year. Reason: Everybody else is current and the unused EB1 quota will trickle down.
For EB3, there is a very good chance that RoW will become current, and everybody else move a year ahead.
EB ROW CHINA INDIA MEXICO PHILIPPINES
2nd C C 01JAN04 C C
3rd C 01AUG03 01AUG02 01AUG02 01AUG05
want eb3 to move atleast 3 months.
Dear friends,
First of all, happy for all of you guys that have been waiting on this for some time now. hopefully the forward movement continues, and also be predictable.
My question is,
My PD is July 2003, and I am now current as of June 1, 2007. I am collecting all the needed paperwork, and trying to decide if I should file for it in june 2007.
1) Let's say in one of the future few bulletins -- lets say the aug bulletin that will be out on july 15 has Non 2004 for EB2 INDIA , sep bulletin, gets out on Aug 15, and shows U -- meaning unavailable for the rest of the year, which will take effect on Sep 1, 2007.
DO I have a window of opportunity between Aug 15 and Aug 30 to actually file my I 485 application.
2) Though we have heard that the dates will move back in the oct 2007 bulletin which will be out sep 15, 2007. what is predicted.
could it be pulled back to pre July 2003 for EB2 India ?
It is really hard to deal with this system that is so unpredictable.
Help would be appreciated.
I am a new user... not sure if this is the right thread for my question. So please forgive if you think this is the wrong place.
My priority dt is July 01, 2003. Do you guys think there is a reasonable chance that the cut-off dates will move forward to or beyond July 01, 03 in the next month or so ? Would it make sense to have the medical examinations done just in case ? I am just concerned about the cost of going thru all and then not being able to file.
Any comments are welcome.
PS: I might post the same question in another related thread.
--You will know about further movement in July visa bulletin. It will be out in the middle of June. In case the dates move to include your PD, you will have half month of June + 30 days of July to prepare for 485. Approximately 45 days.
I went for medical this week. Did not have proof of any vaccination. Had to get poked in 5 areas on both arms. It takes about 3 to 5 business days to get the full report in hands. I do not see any reason why you should do it in advance. You will have ample time.
I would suggest that you focus on Birth Certificate though. It takes awful lot of time to get it from the home country if you dont have one.
Good luck.
techy, on busy day I get a call every 4 minutes and typically i get 1,000 e-mails per month from people. The phone calls and e-mails are generally answered from known people to me since I took my contact info off the boards a long time ago.
carolva, is not from India, China or Pakistan which comprises 99.9% of the communication.
In last year I can only remember two people who I communicated with who are not from above three countries. One lady who went for EB greencard who was 245i candidate who had signed a document many years ago at an interview that she was involved in marriage fraud and she wanted to know how to get out of it.
Second person was 245i candidate whose april 2001 labor got withdrawan but had new priority date in 2004 and wanted to know when her priority date was going to get current so that she could get EAD. Maybe her and maybe not.
She is just another example of someone playing around with the boards and immigration system. She doesn't understand that people will go through historical postings and find inconsistencies. Her employer signed her 140 under penalty of perjury that they wanted to employ her on a permanent basis. She files in premium and then after it gets approved she gets laid off. As if any business environment they make a decision in one week to lay someone off. This take some time to sort itself out. Then they have no desire to employ her fulltime but she is going to take a letter from them and file 485 which they have no intention of hiring her and she has no intention of working with them (these are all from her postings). Then it gets even more comical that she is talking about taking advice from a lawyer but she is asking these questions on an immigration board and claimed to have called me.
One thing I have come to understand in last couple of days which I should have understood a long time ago; is that people are anonymous and say things as they feel because there are no repurcussions to them or they just switch ID's and play good cop/bad cop.
Many posters are from third world countries; some live in poverty, some make $18,000, some make $50k, some make $100K and some make over a million dollars; we are at different ages; we have different biases from what we have seen when we are young or our own experiences living in USA, we have different education, different skills, different exposures which formulate how we post, how we research and how we come to conclusions. When you have people from varying backgrounds, education and skill there is going to be conflict. I realized that due to all these differences; we fly at different altitudes in our way of thinking.
Because this thread has left a bitter taste to me; I didn't want to exit on a bad note in this portal (i have started to delete many of my postings; post count has dropped by 1,400 from yesterday. If people want to do their own research then let them do so.).
However, because a lot of people do know me; I am going to post my background (note: i do the question/answer for free) have not charged for a single phone call; people offer to pay and I turn them down; mainly because I don't care for $200 or $500; I have made over 7 figures for a few years (salary, bonsues, restricted stock options, stock options, deferred compensation plans but I still hang onto this portal answering peoples questions because that is my nature.
Below is a link to Securities and Exchange Commission web-site which shows OneGroup (Bank One and now JP Morgan) mutual funds ($100 billion company). I was the CFO/Treasurer of not only this company but 12 other major banks in USA. Below is the officer table. Take a close look at who had reporting lines to me; specifically the background of the legal people. I ran at a very high altitude which most people on these forums cannot even talk to in their everyday life; can't even got on the same floor and about 30 floors below on the organization chart. therefore, when people who don't do any research or keep posting nonsense without any basis, it gets very annoying for a person with my background; because if they came to these types of conclusions without doing any research in their professional careers; they would get fired very quickly. People with my background don't have any time for incompetency in any manner. This is what we are used to; this is what our expectations are.

Now, I have said what I needed to say and will let everyone gettng back to their discussions on how they think things work.
Hi UnitedNations
I would need your experience and help to pull me out of the trouble that i am in now.
My case is exactly the same as others you have helped
my case is like this
applied for labor in 2002
got approval in april 2007
applied for 1-140 in regular, moved to premium in june 2007
applied for 485, ead, 131 june 07
got RFE on 140 for ABILITY to PAY for 2002, 2003, 2004
responded within 80 days
got denial notice within 2 days
i had a sleepless night yesterday, cant decide what to do , cant go back due to my certain circumstances
my 7th year H1B is expiring Oct 2008 and it wont be possible for me to extend is beyong 7th year if i dont have application pending for one year neither a new LC can help me stay beyond oct 2008
as i have ready your posts you have helped people apply for MTR
I would need your help on this
1) do we have to file MTR within 30 days
2) does USCIS respond to MTR within certain time or its not fixed
3) what would it take to file MTR , can you give me some details as to what need to be file, letters from Managing parters of company , financials statements
4) they refused 140 saying that the difference in salary ( prevaling wage - salary ) was not accounted for in financial statement, even though my employer / lawyer think that the case is strong enough and financials are justified.
5) do you think i should file for new LC
6) can we refile 140 if MTR is rejected.
Would appreciate if you can respond ASAP as i have only few weeks to send MTR
my personal email address is guneet@chugh.com if you can get chance to send me PM , would very much appreciate
Thanks
