When you say that Visa has been issued, does this mean you're 100% approved?

It is 100% once u get the passport in hand and check u have multiple entry visa and name & other info is correct

BTW:You have sent ur passport on 19-June.Are u talking about ur passport or someone else.If this is yours and it has been approved then u are lucky... Pal
 
Visa Issued!

Hi!

I called the DC office this morning! She said that visa has been issued Sept 3. I'm little bit nervous because I faxed a withdrawal letter last Aug 29. So I was wondering if they approved our application or just cancelled it.

But I really hope and pray that our visa was approved.

I'll update you once I received my pp.

Dude,

They usually give priority to people who submit withdrawl for some urgent travel.As it is more than 10 weeks since u submitted.

Take my word ur visa is approved.

Start checking your fed-ex tracking number.Please update the list when u recieve it

I personally know many folks who had to travel to India for marriage and they withdrew the pp and their patience & time ran out and guess what they recieved their pp stamped.

Checked the FedEx tracking. My PP has been picked up by FedEx 3-45 PM on 5th September from Washington DC. Will update once I receive my PP. I have just one concern because on form DS-157 in column 3 I wrote my name in English not in native language (my mistake)
 
How do you guys find out its reached DC, please let me know how to do it..

received stamped PP

For people like me to track current processing date.

SL received June 2
I received the stamped PP on Sept 5

Details: My PP was about to expire, got new PP from SFO Indian consulate. Sent both old and new PP along with all required docs for visa revalidation. All US visa stamps in old PP were marked "CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE". New PP has new visa stamped.

Never called SL/DC office as I was in no hurry.

Name in Native Alphabet

Naman ,

When I had sent my Passport for Visa revalidation in November 2002 , I entered my name in English . At that time I got my Visa stamped without any issues .

I am now worried , are you telling us that the name has to be entered in our mother tounge or what do you mean by native alphabet.

Any comments from others waiting for their PP .
