June-Revalidation Application tracking

No news yet...

I cannot find my tracking number in the FedEx system yet.

Originally, I had planned to go to India on Sept 12th.... oh well, I'm glad I have not yet bought my ticket.

I have not called DC.

A general revalidation question

Are all H1 revalidation cases processed in DC ?

I mean, do people from all over the USA send their passports and forms to St.Louis and receive passports back from DC after processing?
 
Some good news !

Just called DC office, visa has been approved and gone for printing on sep-5th. Unfortunately, i don't have fedex tracking number.

PP received today with Visa stamp
Now they have changed the color of Visa sticker
*DS-157 in column 3 I wrote my name in English not in native language (my mistake)

on form DS-157 column 3 one is supposed to write the name in native language as I am from India it should have been in Punjabi for me or Hindi, Telgu , Tamil, Bengali ,or Gujarati but they approved my Visa I had typed my name in English

Received my passport today with Visa stamp

SL recd date:3 June PASS RECD: 8 Sept :)

Forum was very helpful, please update the status so that it helps people still waiting for their passports

Anyway couple of things I wanted to share (not to say that you need make these mistakes intentionally)
a) I didn't write my name in native language
b) I said yes to question where it askes has anyone filed immigration petition on your behalf (actually my company has just filed the labor application not I-140 yet? hence the answer should have been "NO")

I just want to know when your visa has been issued?
Because I called last week and told me that it was issued Sept 3.
I just want to know approx when can I get my visa.

Mine was issued Sept 5 and it was mailed out the same day (sept 5), passport received on Sept 8 (thro' fedex)

I used fedex hence I would expect if you used any of courier services you probably should either receive it today or tomorrow..

Native alphabet

In the native alphabet field of the DS-157 I wrote in English my full name..

Will they reject it for this??

It seems that you case is approved so quickly! You sent on June 20 and your visa is already approved on Sept. 2? If so, congratulations! I remember you were asking for some info about passport withdraw some time before. Now you do not need it.

Is there any way to expedite the application?

Hi! I actually faxed a withdrawal letter last Aug 29. And when I called the DC office last friday to know the status of my application, they told me it was issued sept. 3.
so i don't know what does it mean. Im still waiting for my pp.

I have not called DC, so I'm afraid I'm in the dark as to the status of my application :(

My passport has been picked up Fedex.

Sep 8, 2003 1:45 pm , Picked up by FedEx , WASHINGTON DC


I will update you the status of the visa and everything once I receive my passports.

I was told that my visa has been approved, but it has not been printed yet in my passport.

The visa specialist said that it could take a week just to leave the visa office, due to processing delays.
