FP notice recd.

Recd FP notice for myself for an appearance on 03/12/02. Still waiting for my husband\'s FP notice. The RD for both of us was 01/14/02.
 
Padma, did your get your EAD ?

I remember you got receipts for all EAD/FPs. Isn\'t it time for you
to get EAD yet for January 8th mail date?

ghweelabhai, me and my husband already recd our AP and EADs almost 2 weeks back. waiting for his FP notice.
rakesh, yes, the AVM has changed for my case. It says that FP notice was mailed on 02/07/02.

what is your EB category? I am trying to see if they are going for EB2 faster, mine is EB3

and it was mailed and received on Feb 2, 2002. waiting for notices.

its a document similar to my 140 approved doc but this one it\'s a receipt notice for 131 application.

Does anybody have a similar experience?

Good News!!
I just talked to an NVC rep and she confirmed me that the files
I 140\'S that were approved for CP will no longer be transferred
to Chennai until they receive the confirmation from the attorney
or the applicant.. She said that its a new process that they
implemented recently due to the complications.
THIS IS GOOD NEWS...

Yep, I\'m the unlucky one!!! No receipts yet!!!

BTW, we talked to the IIO, got our Lin#s and A#s. Receipts were mailed on 01/09/02, lost in mail (probably). NSC cannot generate a duplicate receipt - per IIO.

Will apply locally for EAD (in person) and AP (in mail) with A#s instead of receipt notice (can do that per IIO). I did not send EAD & AP with I-485 as local processing is fast; but I did not anticipate receipts being lost - a bad move in retrospective!!!

ND 01/09/02

BTW - was relatively easy to get thru to IIO and very helpful!
 
who gets the receipts? if one uses an attorney, then attorney gets it??

but I have heard EAD is directly mailed to you? I am confused on
who gets what! Mine was mail delivered on 2/1 but haven\'t heard a
thing, should be getting at least a receipt I think.
