My friend told me he finished his whole application process for citizenship in 3 weeks. Is this even possible? He is in Phoenix area.

Your friend is a liar. No one can have their N400 naturalization complete in 3 weeks. No one... Don't listen to him...

I don't think that is truth

If your friend is telling the truth, I have a nice bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. It takes longer than 3 weeks to get fingerprinted, let alone finish the entire process. Unless your friend had incriminating photos of the director of USCIS, I wouldn't put too much stock into his claim.

Thanks guys. I don't think he is true either.

Yes it is possible. I know a guy in San Jose who got done in like almost month and a half. He applied in December beginning and got a interview on Jan 5. His oath is scheduled for 28th along with me and I started in October. I heard there are not too many people applying these days with the economy going south.

One month and a half is possible. 3 weeks no way. Even time spent on physical movement of application package s transportation of A file
can total 2 weeks.

Mimi... how a u doing? Are you done with the N400 process? If so, when a u taking me to Cuba? Need to expand my family with two people, u know what I mean... ???

Hey AL!

Well I'm still waiting =(...I sent the additional stuff Dec 8th but nothing yet, go read the thread I have going on about "my green card expire while waiting for decision". Anyway, I sent in my cuban passport to be made today! Maybe once I'm over this little nightmare we can all go to Cuba to celebrate being US CITIZENS hahaha!

I am crossing my fingers that they approve it quickly. I don't think marrying in Cuba and not disclosing it to USCIS would be a problem, would it? I mean, they don't
exchange any information witht the US govt anyway, so I can be a polygamist in the neighboring Cuba without any problem..lol!! Also, if they take too long to approve, let me know soon so that I can send in a naked man to run around your DO in protest... I can pay him to enter the building and go naked once in the waiting room of USCIS and run around naked too...

Thanks AL! and about getting married there well they might let you but your wife won't be happy about that LOL

Day 1 - Mail the application (overnight)
Day 2 - Application package received by CIS
Day 3 - Application entered into computer, fingerprints requested automatically by computer
Day 6 - Fingerprint notice received
Day 6 - Early FP (sort of took the notice and ran to the FP office)
Day 7 - FP check and Name check received by CIS
Day 8 - Interview Requested
Day 10 - Interview notice received
Day 21 - Interview
Day 21 - Same Day Oath

I am sure it is possible, on the face of it looks feasible in 2 weeks itself if they had scheduled the interview properly.
