It doesnt matter what it says as long as a visa is not available, an approved I-130 doesn't do anything.

This goes under Visa Category 2A
and the cut-off dates this month are
1 JAN 04

What I was trying to show is that 2008 is a typo, they want to say 2005.
My point is that this lists are probably done for people in a hurry and they do not rewiew them causing false expectations to us.

the dates in these list are correct ..
Applications get Approved First
and the long wait time after that is due to waiting Visa to become available
which you can track the dates for visa bulletin here:
http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_4357.html

The priority date is based on the date the I-130 is filed not approved. So getting the I-130 approved sooner does not benefit you in any way as long as the visa backlog exists.

LOL. Dude, do you realize you are self owned now ?
Jan 2008 is the filing date of I130, meaning I-130 filed on Jan 2008 is being processed now.

It's quite comical when one points a finger to others without knowing s/he is actually the wrong one.

Let me be more specific for you.
Every month USCIS publish the Processing Times for California Service Center and all others.
On August 15 the Processing time was January 1 2005 in the category I130 Permanent resident filling for a spouse or child under 21, furthermore has been there (January 1 2005) for the last several months.
Suddenly on Sept 15, in just one month, the category advance and stunning 3 years and 2 days to Jan 3 2008 in just 30 days....don't you find this very interesting and quite abnormal?

O Rly ?
First of all, I doubt that processing date on Aug 15 was not Jan 2005's.
Why ? Read this case.
http://boards.immigration.com/showthread.php?t=284000

if Aug 15 schedule said that they were processing Jan 2005 application, the applications they were processing on Aug 9 was supposed to have been filed even before jan 2005. Well, big surprise, his I-130 filed in April 2006 got approved on Aug 9.

You think his I-130 wasn't filed at CA service center ? Fine, check Vermont service center. As of today, the processing date is not even reaching April 2006, therefore his I-130 wouldn't be even touched if it's at Vermont. His I-130 must have been filed in CA service center.
