We are 2nd July filers...Got EAD approval on 09/25 for myself (derivative) but not for the primary..no updates....CAN ANYONE SUGGEST WHAT SHUD WE DO...i called NSC they CS read what is available online to us....we didnt apply for AP ...waiting for EAD to be approved and then apply AP....

Till when can we receive approval for the primary person?

In how much time are we seeing approvals of AP from NSC??

Oh Yeah. I was made insane to the last point. J Barrett dude was like my mom in law,.. cant love.. cant hate. Had to live with this fact.
Glad that chapter is over. Hope I dont have to deal with any Barrettsss any anymore.Life moves on.
 
I called 1-800 and IO explained to me that data entry and receipt issuing data being published is inaccurate do not panic lots of applications from july 2 are yet to be opened. She said that the people who published this information are not the same people who are processing applications she do not know why they dont get their act together.I should wait.

REC EAD for Spouse and Me

Just received the EAD cards. By the way I need to get my wife the SS # . So how do I proceed after this point. Any links or directions would be appreciated since I guess all some of the folks waiting for the EAD for their spouse must have done some homework.

Here is the link to the social security office locator. Insert your zip code and search for the nearest social security office. Take your wife to the office with her passport, state issued id and EAD. As soon as you go in, ask for an application to appy for a new SS#. Fill it out, wait for your turn. Once submitted, SS will arrive in the mail in approx 7 business days depending on your locality.
