Unfortunately you might need to wait for your PD current. FP doesn't mean you have the near future approval.

Thanks for giving me the optimistic reply. I also do hope it happens the same. How much time does it take to do name check? How would I know that it has been done? The status message for I485 is still the same as i first got it which is your application has been received on 16th dec, and it takes usually 850 to 900 days. There was only change in the date which is LUD. Will the message say something different then after the name check has been done? I have allready got 2 LUDs in 2 consecutive days the very next day after FP. Was that the name check?
 
I see some couple of approvals today. Most of them look like from 2002. Also most of them have their FP done in Feb 2005. The other trend I am trying to figure is the category. I see most of them either EB2 or Eb1. Help me verify that since not all those approved have mentioned their category.

Looks like a trend. NCR got stuck in FB name check and hence the delay. Must be a common name.
 
Change in LUD

Just noticed that LUD on our I485 have changed to 4/18/2005. What stranged is even my approved I40 has the LUD changed to the same date.

485 RD - 06/02/2004 - No RFE yet

Do not see any 485 approvals for concurrent filers

Do not see any 485 approvals these days for concurrent filers for whom 140 is approved and FP done . Saw 1 or 2 cases where 140 & 485 approved at same time.
 
My 140 is approved in december and my PD has been current for a while..still not 485 approval....dont know what to make of it...

If yes then you should look at a quick approval.

I dont know if the name check is complete. do you have the email address and the format to send to FBI? I thought someone said they are not replying to the email, which is why I didnt send them one. What info do they need on it? just the alien number?

Sent FBI email late Feb 05. No response yet. Got FOIPA response by 3/15/05 though.
