Based on the posted messages in this thread, the timeline for 140 approval is approximately 9-12 months. In my case, 140 got approved within 3 months but no status update for 485 since. Here are my details:

EB2 Concurrent, TSC, filed from Charleston South Carolina

FP done on 12/15/03 (online status says result received on 12/29/03)
140 AD 01/15/04
Paraphrasing current status from USCIS- 'On December 29,2003 results of your fingerprint review is received, and processing has resumed on your case........'

My case:

I-140 ND Jan.3, 2003; AD Jan 27, 2004
1st EAD ND Oct.24, 2003 (never approved)
2nd EAD ND Aug.10, 2004, AD Sep.24, 2004
I-485 ND Oct.24, 2003; AD ?????
FP Dec.27, 2003

saras76, you mentioned AILA in your message. Could you elaborate a little more on that? Did you initiate an inquiry through AILA??
I'd appreciate your response on this.

Ritu_Sanjay:

I am not sure if I understand it right. The table shows for 3/2004 FP recv'd are 13%, but approved cases are 46.9%. It does not seem that this makes sense. How can the approve 33.9% of the people without the FP's? Please clarify, as I may be interpreting it wrong.

these are cumulative stats

FPs received + RFEs + Transfers + Approvals + + = 100%

You can also see a case study at the site which explains the numbers. Key question is how accurate is the data on immigration.com????

Question on LUD changes for FP

We got our FPs (Code 1 only FP) done at Charlotte ASC on 2/26/2005 & havenot seen any LUD changes on our I-485s, even after a month. Is that normal or does it take more time. Have initiated an enquiry through USCIS customer service, which states that TSC will respond within 30 days with a status report.

Question for ritu_sanjay

Ritu_sanjay,
My case is similar to your case.I did my FP on 03/02/05 and i have not seen any LUD change.
How did you intiate an enquiry with USCIS?

Called 1-800-375-5283 got a CS agent to initiate an inquiry so as why even after more than 30 days no LUD change (viz has USCIS received the FPs). Also confirmed with FBI that they sent back FP to USCIS same day we did our FP. Hope that will be useful...

Thanks ritu_sanjay.I did my FP at Charlotte too.Hopefully ,we should see some activity very soon.
