I140 and I485 concurrent file and I140 approved, I485 Pending Thread

FP Codes????

what do the FP code mean? my fp code is 3.

EB1 - i485 Case

Hi everyone,
I have concurrently filed i140 and i485 in November 2003 and I have received i140 approval on 05/05/05.
Accordingly;
I-140 approval received on 05/05/05
2nd FP notice received on 05/12/05
2nd FP (Code 1) was completed on 06/17/05

I will appreciate if you may provide any experiences for further steps on an EB1 - i485 approval case.

I am specifically curious about : :confused:
1) Is there a code 3 FP afterwards?
2) Will there be an Interview before approval of the I-485 OR do they directly inform you with an Approval Letter?
3) I heard that some people received their GCs without getting a stamp on their passport, is this true?
4) If necessary, while getting the passport stamped, is there a need to take any further documents (company/tax related etc) or do we need to take only passport, EAD and the notice?

Your experiences will be appreciated very much.

This is what I got from a site

Code 1 is for a fingerprinting appointment;
Code 2 is for a biometrics appointment; and Code 3 is a combination fingerprinting/biometrics appointment.

My Fp code is 1.

can someone pass a judgement on my case?????

Please take a look at my signature and tell me if my case is on track / delayed/ is it worth waiting for ...seems like india has very good options these days

Dicksonrobert I think you might get approved soon because I've seen a lot of 2004 approvals lately and your priority date. Also you have more chance that the rest of us who are EB3s and our cases will be frozen until October 2005 because of lack of visa numbers.

LUD changed, no status change

I did FP on 6/18/05, my LUD changed on 6/20/05 and 6/21/05, and now 6/29/05, hope it's a good sign, at least somebody is doing something on my case.

sorry, it's Sept 03,2004.

A friend of mine just received his plastic card in mail today. He did FP in May 2005, case approved on 6/12/05, no passport stamp notice.

did your friend had biometrics and picture taken at his FP or just code 1 finger prints?
I've praying for that kind of miracle to come my way... now that EB3 cases have no more visa numbers available, I'm praying to receive my miracle in the mail too!!!
Another question: did your friend get a message status change, and a magic email?

His PD is May 2001, EB2, same as mine. 485 RD June 2004. He did a Code 3 finger print. He didn't get any email/notice, just the card. The letter shows the card was ordered on 6/12/05.

Pray for all of us.
 
Hi Find, I submited my application May 20/2004 under NIW to TSC. i did it by myself-no lawyer. I did not get any notice so far. I call 1-800 ...two times but did not change the history.
can you share your expericne.

Hi All,

I filed I-140 and I-485 concurrently in Aug 2004. My 140 got approved in Jan 2005. I did my FP on 24th June 2005. Since then, LUD on my $85 has changed twice, but status still says:

"Your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received on August 20, 2004. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 850 and 900 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete."

Does anybody has any idea, what this means? Did any of you, had similar situation? I would appreciate, if you all could please share your experience.

Guys,

My 485 was filed in March 04 and the 140 got approved in March 05. FPs were done in Feb and then my wifes 485 got an RFE and another FP notice in the mail. She did her FP again in April and the RFE was received by TSC in April. Since then there have been LUD changes on my wifes approved EAD, unapproved AP and 485 but nothing has happened. Our APs have been pending for over 6 months now. Not sure what the hell TSC is doing here ... check my signature for more details. TSC has made this process very complicated for me.
