How long will it take to get Case Number

My attorney sent I-140 and I-485 applications to NSC on the last week of June. I just learnt USCIS cashed in the bank cheque yesterday only. My questions:

1) How long will it take to get the case number ?
2) Will they send a letter with the case number to only the attorney or to me also ?
3) If I get Case No. with SRC does it mean both I-140 and I-485 will be processed at TSC.

By the way I am from non retrogression countries with EB2 and PD Feb 2004.

You should receive it within a couple of weeks.

Only to the attorney, he/she will notify you.

Yes, and from what I have heard, it seems TSC is faster than NSC. Goodluck with everything.

I-140 NSC Tracker

My I-140 was filed in NSC on March 31st. I got the receipt.But still waiting for the approval.It is already 3.5 months.
 
NSC is now moving fast. My friend filed on April 6th got his approval today.

I-140 approved today!!

I sent an email to my lawyer to get the receipt number for my case that was filed on June 27, 2006. I was surprised to find out that actually my case was approved on July 10, 2006.

Can you please share some details about your case? Is it EB2/3? Is it a concurrent filing case? Have you received finger print notice, or any LUDs before this?
My receive date is June 27th as well.

EB3 I-140 denied :( refiled

hi there! i hope u can see through my case:

I am EB3 filed concurrent I-140/I-485 filed 01/2006, EAD approved 03/2006 but I-140 denied 06/15/06 due to error in job posting! very simple mistake!

luckily, i am still on 245(k) when i-140 got denied. i came here on B2. we have refiled i-140 & i-485 plus I-765... it is like starting from the beginning!

i am in anxious anticipation of the results of the refiling. pls enlighten me! is my lawyer right in doing the refiling? FYI, I-485 denial (which is expected), is not received by us at all yet. AND BY THE WAY, CAN I STILL WORK ON EAD?and is my 245(k) still valid even if i have used the EAD to work?

i have receipt notice already of the refiled apps... about 3 weeks from mailing them to NSC...

ANY IDEAS? i mean, i need convincing that everything will be okey... thanks!

Can you please provide a little more details? What simple mistake are you referring to in the filing of the ad?
Does it not prompt any RFE why straight out denial?

I filed for my I-485 this month. Received the FP notice but it is from TSC and is an SRC receipt number. Still waiting on I-140 approval.
 
EB1-or pending since Dec2005 vsc to nsc

My I-140 is pending in NSC since the transfer from VSC. I am wondering how long I have to wait to get my I-140 approval. Please reply if any body have very similar case.

I-140 approved today!

I just got the email with confirmation that my I-140 had been approved! It was an EB2 with FD of 5/1/2006 filed in NSC.

This brings hope to people on the same boat,

I upgraded my case to PP and got this update. Could you tell me if this is an RFE or just a status update?

The message is - " Your Request for Premium Processing Service for your I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER was received on so and so date. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete"
