I am really disappointed. There have been no approvals last week and this week.
I think NSC is busy sending the Notices for the I-140 cases transferred to their location from other service centers.

Based on various articles i read in news papers, this is what i understood....

1. US government will identify (only god knows how) all (if not most of them) the illegal immigrants.

2. Categotize them as Junior illegals (< 2 years in US), intermediate illegals (2 -5 years in US) and senior illegals (> 5 years).

3. If you belong to Senior category, that means you did a good job by violating all the rules successfully for five long years. Now you are qualified to apply for GC and for citizenship there after.

4. The Junior and Intermediate illegals are less experienced so they need to go to their home country and then wait in the queue for coming back to US as guest workers with valid visa, then pay taxes and generate revenue for the government. If you want to again become illegal, you can, becasue there might be another program/immigraion bill just to deal with these people, just before the elections.

5. Upto yesterday, both the political parties screamed at each other but today came up with a compramise supporting the immigration bill. Do you think things happen without a reason...i dont think so..!!!

At this moment, there are only questions but no answers.

Visa Bulletin for May

:rolleyes: Good Progress for EB2. It has been 6 months advance every month.

Other categories: not very promising.

EB3 I-140 approvals are faster where as Visa Priority dates are not keeping up with I-140

EB2 I-140 approvals are slowerr where as Visa Priority dates are moving forward faster.

Updated Tracker (Apologies to rp1975)

Looks like rp1975 is out again or extremely busy. There have been some additions and very miniscule updates and only 1 Approval.

I have updated the tracker, but not the analysis.

rp1975 when you get a chance, please make mods as you see them fit.

tracker is updated till April 8th.

my lawyer says I-140 applied on april 6th, 2006.

will wait for recipt notice.

details: priority date- 11/11/2005; EB-3 worldwide
no I485 filed due to retrogression
 
I-140 Approved.

My 140 has been approved on Apr 7th, 2006.

No RFE's and No LUD Changes. Got approval email.

Now, Have to wait for Priority Date.
