I don't know if it is possible to approve I-140 in one center and approve I-485 in another. I hope it is possible and I-485 doesn't get transferred to NSC.

gcpursuer, Check my progress. Our cases seem to be very close in dates. I got LUDs today on my I-140 and I-485, but haven't got any approval emails.
 
yes I was luckier than some.
Yes the means are there. You can register at uscis.gov website with your LIN number. It gives status , LUD changes and also email notification in case status changes.

My status has not changed for 2 months but having endured B(lackhole)EC's I have enough patience to wait for next steps.

It comes when it comes, and it's just a waiting game, so let's wait and see when it comes. I only hope that they don't expect me to file for premium processing and put me on a longer waiting game.

Same thing here, I got LUDs yesterday and today on both my I-140 and my I-485 but haven't seen any change in status nor received any emails. Let's let the nailbitting continue...

by the way did u do the FP? or not yet? maybe after they ask u for teh fingerprint , ur case will be trnasfered not sure thought. just guessing.

My FP got done on 7/25 as indicated. No new LUDs on I140 and I-485 yet as bartolo5 got. Don't know if they decide to transfer the case, when it will be. Its one month past since FP.

There you go. My guess is EB-2 and EB-1 I-140 processing along with normal EB-3 will take a hit as USCIS in an urge to make more revenue would put maximu resources on Premium.

GCOnly, seems like you are not alone. I also got LUDs on my I-140 in two consecutive days without change to status. :mad:

It appears that even if a case gets browsed through in the system, the LUD gets updated which rules out the possibility that it has been taken up for final processing. The recent spike in instances of LUD changes suggests that all the hulla-gulla is probably about arranging and re-arranging cases in preparation for the premium processing. Only my guess.

Yeah, in my case the I-140, the I-485 and the EAD got the same LUDs on consecutive days.. This could very well be someone scanning a barcode attached on the cases or something like that. At least they are somewhere and not lost in a corner getting dust.

I wouldn't complain. No LUDs since that meaningless 7/22. Check my signature!!

Guru's , Please suggest should I upgrade my 140 application to premium , My sixth year is ending in Dec 06 and MY ND for 140 is april 24 2006. Looking at the way NSC is progressing , I don't know when they'll reach to my application.
Please give me suggestion.

PS: I had another 140/485 in pipeline since Dec 2004, that was sub labor for future employment.
I am very frustrate with whole thing going on. :mad:

I am in teh same situation. My only worry is if tehre is a RFE in premium, can we get the H1 extension?
